to lock the keypad, press the * button followed by the right soft key which has the words Lock Keys against it. To unlock, repeat in the same order, * then the Unlock soft key. to set on auto-lock, go to Settings, General tab, Locks, Automatic Keylock. The keys lock very quickly on auto mode. unfortunately, the delay cannot be preset by user.

It is a great phone but I found a very weird bug on it, this bug appeared when I tried to dial a number stored on the phone book. try this, if you store a contact with a name Smith and a phone number 011-2586541, and you dialed xxx-2586541 the name of Smith will appear!!.and even if you dial only 2586541 !!!, and if you have 2 contacts with 2 differnt operator and they have the same number(xxx-zzzzzzz and yyy-zzzzzzz), you will have a very unexcepected response.

I am really happy with the features of my phone.
Would you mind giving me some information and necessary advice on following, which will help me to maintain my phone with the good condition for a long time.
1. What is the battery lifetime?

this is great phone to own but i think it has a bad spot which s its media player which does not play many other formats like dat, wav, etc . so if any one knows about any other alternate player please inform , other wise it is a great phone to own , i bought it 2 months back !!!

uhmm..for those ones who have used it long enuf, i just want to ask if the scroll is good enough to last long...cause some sony ericson phones easily gets broken first on the scroll, or w/e u call that thing in the middle used to navigate..^_^

the video duration is only limited by ur memory, i have a 1 gig memory card and ive made videos of 45 minutes long and the bar didnt even begin to say full. and there is no point having an mp3 song as message tone because around 7 seconds, the tone will stop playing.

i just want to know if this phone have the keypad lock to it. like a protection in case numbers are accidentally dial when it is in your pocket. can someone let me know please? i am interested in this phone. thanks!
