Hi zeetbear here___ Dear, in my personal opinion,,, the best audio format is mp3 & the best bitrate is 160_kbps___ But for best MP3 performance, make sure you have the latest firmware. Check your current firmware which is R1DB001 (26.10.2006) by pressing these keys: > * Softwareinfo

K750i supported Audio Formats...........
midi, midi40, amr, aac, wav, mp3, mp4___

Supported Video Formats...........
mpeg-4, 3gpp, h.263, xmf, svgt___

i am using excellent software for mp3 conversion namely___ Power MP3 Cutter Joiner__i hope, now you know the best settings of mp3___takecare

Can you tell me that how much audio bit rate could it support max in mp3 and other formats.Also can it support wav format I have in its guide and said that it support wav so program will be better for converting wav.Also which firmware is latest avaible.Thanks in advance.

Can anyone plz tell me about the sound comparison b/w k750i and w810..my friend has a k750 and the sound quality is pretty good..Is 810 really better considering the walkman feature or is the quality just as same..
Also whats the difference b/w walkman version 1 and 2..

Hi, I have my K750i for more than a year now and I am very satisfied with its performance. Good sounds, nice pictures and the menu animation is just great. One question though, What's the deal with Duo and Pro Duo? Are both of these memory stick compatible with the K750i?

plz can u clarify me also about a rumour that has been posted here that in newer versions of k750i Sony Ericsson have cut down the image/cam quality/the sound quality, just to support their new models.. Is there any level of truth in this.... I will be bombshelled because i really like this fone....

Hi zeetbear here___ No dear, it is not a rumor: i think people isn't realize that there is another china made mp4 k750 also present,with no infrared & equipped with low quality hardware___ On the other hand Genuine from Sony...comes with purposely installed 5 times Older firmware to support there newer models,,, With the huge success of the K750i it didn't come as a surprise when Sony Ericsson's other K-models not gettting well people attention now___ price vs features___ you should borrow someone, or friends K750i and then go to buy new.......and compare both___i already wrote method to find installed Firmware.... ok.....takecare

I wanted to get info from a person who knows alot about k750i. Im planning to buy it, but im clueless about its video recording time and how many mp3s can be stored in its standard memory card. Im trying to buy this fone before december can u tell me about this availability then, and can u give me the go signal because i was looking for a cellphone that isnt too expensive or too cheap. Should i buy it because it has got more features than any other cellfone that is in its price bracket.... plz plz plz tell me about its availabilit at the end of year. Thanx

dear you can check K750i already installed Firmware version with this navigations,,,i writing a method now to find__All company information of K750i__ you simply Deactivate all shorcuts of joystick__then

6). It got good Call records,30 received, dialed and missed calls___Battery life is awesome, Stand-by Up to 400 hours & Talk timeUp to 9 h___ also has FM radio with RDS(station name identification)___it has Infrared too...........

The bottom line is: Sony Ericsson's stylish, Feature Rich, compact K750i takes crystal-clear photos, packs plenty of multimedia options, and tops it all off with fully enabled Bluetooth,,,, if you like an overall smaller and lighter with a longer battery life and a better camera, then the K750i is the better choice____ I can happily recommend this phone to anyone, including you___But the final decision is yours..........Takecare

5). K750i Announced in mid 2005, if you wanna buys K750i in 2007___ you must have latest 9/10/2006 Firmware installed___in order to beat the latest___its a very valid point___i hope you can understand...(latest Firmware is just excellent)

6). Music___it has great music capabilities. The earphone is not comfortable but produce quality music. The Bass is excellent___ Mega Bass(Trademark of Sony) will drive u crazy...it also has a dedicated music button on its top left side. It helps you to play & pause without lookin into the phone___ quite handy!!!

3Dear, its a fact!!! some people may have trouble adjusting to working with the JOYSTICK,,, it will never breaks easily....if you use it sensibly,,,, JOYSTICK may be defective due to...Dirt, carbon, moisture, hard handling,,, I have had no issues at all. I think single JOYSTICK is much better and easy to navigate than a number of buttons you can see on some Sony's new models___ which is more or less same in terms of features.

4).Camera___just too good for a camera fone___ its the best... Nokia loses out on image quality of the pics captured.... K750i has AUTFOCUS, you can feel the lens going back n forth while focussing... it has a flash too. helps u take decent snaps in the dark... it has a digicam like interface with a camera button on its side....has many camera functions- white balance, effects, macro, self timer & whats not! volume keys are for zoom.... Video quality is good compared to other phones.

1).First of all i wanna mention Gsmarena user ratings.......This phone is a legend___ there is no SE except K750i & K550i(not good enough in camera).

2). Sony Ericsson Brilliant K750i support both Memory Stick Duo™ and Memory Stick PRO Duo™.
This means that all the sizes of that type of Memory Stick™ available on the market at the moment are supported (currently up to 4 GB)____Thereotically SE phone support FAT16 format____FAT16 can support a maximum of 65,524 clusters per volume____FAT16 Size Limits____Maximum file size 2 32 minus 1 bytes Maximum volume size 4 GB Files per volume 2___ It's quite complicated, but I hope now you got the summary pretty well____

3). This phone Announced in 2006, (With newer K750i Firmware, you got same year phone) 6300 Lightweight and thin as a wafer. Stainless steel body, durable. But the volume buttons on the left are very difficult to press.... it does not charge when connected to the computer through USB.

4).Memory for storing music is limited, with just 7.8 Mbytes of user memory, however you can expand the memory to a maximum of 2 Gb by buying a microSD card, not much as fast transfer rate like Memory Stick Duo Pro.

5) It got bad battery life ___Stand-by Up to 348 hours & Talk time only 3 h 30 min (not good). No infrared........but it has EDGE.......Not enough Call records 20 dialed, 20 received, 20 missed calls, less than SE.
Need I say more? i think its enough to judge quality___ now i am explaining SE___

Hi zeetbear here___ Shashi just look at Gsmarena ratings for SE-K750i, Self Explanatory, Elegant user Rating___ if ratings are not substantial___no problem,,, i am explaining for you............
Dear "Nokia 6300" is a good phone for you if___
1).You don't want to use the camera much. The camera is 2 megapixels with an 8x digital zoom and with a video recording function. Enough for casual photography, but not brilliant. It has No flash, No Auto Focus(necessary for take quality pictures) & Overall camera isn't that good compared to SE models.

2).The screen is good...full 320X240 with 16 million colours.
