Hi Zeelbear, I always read that your a very good adviser and expert on this mobile (K750i)! I'm planning to buy this phone next month. But I just want to know that: 1.) What is the best brand of MS Pro Duo that will fit on this phone without any problems & getting slowly? Especially in using 4GB? Is this Sandisk card or its own Sony Cards that i've heard is only compatible with their PS2 and not on this phone!
2.) If I will use 4GB MS Pro Duo (Sandisk or Sony cards), is there any formatting or upgrading of cellphone or memory card will be made first just to be use it without any problems? If yes, how is it going to be?
3.) How can I know the version of this mobile before I buy this phone?
4.) And is it true that the latest released firmware or version of this mobile is not as good as released last year or way way back of its date of availability?
5.) Do its great quality retained or decreased because of the newer models of SE? Especially in sounds, pictures, & videos? Is that true?
Please help me, becoz I really want to buy this phone, but i need some facts not opinions that I can really depend on, so I can buy or got the best one. And use it without any problems. Please help me!!! Thankz in advance!!!

Does anybody know how to take backup of the
contacts of this phone? I tried but failed. Its connectivity with pc is very fine but the problem is with contact backup. Pls let me know if anybody has the solution.

Was planning to buy K750i for meself. Then I heard that the camera module coming in 750i nowadays is inferior to the one in earlier 750i. Also heard SE has downgraded the firmware (deliberately?) so it doesn't sound as good as before, to promote their newer models. Is that true?

Thank you very much zeetbear for answering my question!youre the best!zeetbear,is there any solution to revive my k750i asside from going to a repair shop?it doesnt start if you turn it on,and it is because i accidentaly empty the battery..what should i do?thanks zeetbear!

hi , I buy a k750i for 3 weeks ago . i dont realize what country made it & i can not find any information on the phone or packet .some people say it made in China and it is not original ! is it realy ? (help me)

To Brent___ How are you____Thanks for the compliment dear,,, it has good GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), so the speed is around 32 - 48 kbps___ which seems to be normal___but don't compare with the pc modem___ if you wanna use this, First of all you installed the applications from the SE cd that came with the phone___Then connect the phone and install all the drivers
Go into Start>Programs>Sony Ericsson>Mobile Networking Wizard___takecare......

Hi zeetbear!did you know the speed of the connection when you use the k750i as a modem of a computer?and is it fast?I hope you will answer my question because i noticed that you almost know everything about the k750i,hope you answer my question..

To Shary___ i already wrote many times on this forum /// the complete procedure of upgrading firmware___Dear if someone didn't follow safe steps of updating,,, it means he will be disappointed in the end...... i am afraid,,, the phone MAY BE actually dead___ Only one hope is alive___which is your battery___if your battery suddenly discharged for safety.... may be you mistakenly place K750i infront of monitor___First make sure the phone is charged. Attach the charger and charge the phone for about 2.5 hours. Please note that the battery icon may not appear until the phone has charged for 30 minutes.
If the phone won't start without the charger, attach the charger and try to start the phone. When the phone has started, remove the charger; if that works your phone is probably OK.......if none of the above tip works then you can replace your circuitry only, not all things___takecare___

Well I have this amazing phone almost 2 months now and didnt find any problem,Camera,Sound and all the things are great.I have brought plastic case and its really safe.SE made great phones like 16M display,Tv features,Bass quality loud speakers,Higher Mega Pixels Camrea and other new features.Wishes you best SE.

Dear Zeetbear,

I am in a miserable condition, because i updated my phone via DCU-60, SEUS said your phone is updated, but when i tried to turn it back on after the update it wouldn't turn on :(

I tried to use the update service again, but the software said that your mobile is up to-date.

Please tell me what to do, phone is bricked, dead!!!

Dear___ Many people have been using it with consistent frequency for around 1.75 years___ so nothing to worry about circuitry___ However I do think it is more stable with the newer firmware, and in this case I would highly recommend updating & a little maintenance of joystick___ i have a perfect solution for joystick.... a simple technic which gives K750i 100% navigation stability___This is an excellent, dare I say best all round mobile phone....takecare

The latest firmware fixed all issues involving USB transfer, Memory cards issues _____
FIX: Position bug fixed. Position after deleting pictures, in full screen mode, is now correctly on the next picture ______

Greatly improved reception (Including Fm signal)______

Fix bug found in previous Sony Ericsson K750i firmwares, resulting in smoother, quicker menus and more stable performance

FIX: The Animated menu items bug for Themes is mostly resolved. After applying a theme with an animated menu, we still need to go to the Settings or Calls menu to start the animation, but it will not disappear again after this_____

increased Camera software version ___ LCD V0 Camera V5.3___ Photo and Video quality improved, however, Auto-focus when taken a picture is much faster(in 2.5 sec) ____

Use handsfree with "Mega Bass" feature on, You will notice that the Bass is improved_____

Updated to R1DB001 was to solve a problem with " Bluetooth connectivity ........
