Hi,
I have found a great way to load the wma file to k750i. You simply have to convert it to MP3 format. Now u can listen to your fav song with k750i.
And yes, the battery consumption is pretty frigthening with MP3 on. So juz need to charge it regularly i guess.
But I have a question again. What is the format of the ringtone k750i uses? And if I'm gonna juz extract out the chorus part of a MP3 for ringtone, what program is recommended and how to go abt downloading it?

- No, W800 is NOT faster than K750.
- Listen, it doesn't work that way any more, now you just get the updating software/package, and it will auto. identify your phone, got it ?? So if your phone isn't listed in your region -not possible unless you got the phone from a place then took it with you to another place in which the phone is not originally announced/available-, just choose the closest region that has it listed, or select your original location.

Man, just use some brains.
Forget about the PDF and follow the tips in the post to "maani" in page 11 -maybe 12 after this posting- about which I told you before, if you STILL can't do it for some reason, then just don't bother and take it to your nearest SE customer care center and they'll do it for you, and save yourself -and me- the trouble.

and just one more question:
for the update from sonyericsson.com if the phone misses from my country`s avaible phones list what should i do? should i lie about my location or should i get the update for w800i?
And there certainly are k75oi phones in bulgaria!!

let`s say that i can find a way [package or whatever it is] to upgrate my phone from k750i to w800i...will that be advisable ?
i THINK w800i is a bit faster than k750i isn`t it ?

WMA format is NOT supported by K750.
If you mean WAV, yes, you can set WAV files as a ring tone -as long as its sample rate is equal to or less than 16 KHz-.

I've done it before several times and I just don't feel like repeating it again, just follow the instructions in that PDF, or just follow the tips in my post addressed to "maani" in my posting in page 11.

Though it's recommended to fully charge the battery before using it at the first time, but not doing so won't waste it -totally-.
Later on, its working time will be enhanced, don't worry.

This is very cool, but you CAN'T actually compare a world wide available phone with a phone just for the Korean market !

my battary only lasts 2 days cos i play mp3 all time but i will give u sum tips to save battary life:
1. turn screen brightness down.
2. put it on gsm insteAD of gprs.
3.leave bluetooth off

i just purchased the k750 and didn't charge it properly when first got it. now the battery lasts about 3 days (no use of mp3, radio functions). is there any way of "saving" it, or do i have to buy a new battery?

i test the new firmware and evry thing is ok and all the thing that esato guys said about this new firmware was true and i think all of u should upgrade your firmware to this.
and about the protected files.i use your last tip and i can delet them now.but some of the cannot be moved to another folder.error said that ther are protectet.i don't know why tis happen.like sony erricson ringtone.some of the protected files can be moved and some of them canno't.

I know you guys have mentioned abt wma media file type before but the history is too far back to trace back.

No, the hardware itself -the camera lens- is only capable of capturing/recording videos at a max. resolution of 176*144 with a max. frame rate of 15 frames per second, these conditions are not very proper for/compatible with MPEG4 format -especially the frame rate-, so it has to be 3GP. not about the firmware.

- Bug by definition is "A persistent error in software or hardware".
Simply, it's when a piece of hardware do something it shouldn't do, or not doing something it should do.
In software, a conflict between two codes in program codes or a wrong/missing code resulting in a software weird behaving.
But it's kinda more complicated than that.
Check this page and focus on the bugs that present in each firmware to know what I mean -these bugs are errors that doesn't suppose to happen, so they are called bugs-:

I deleted them just as I told you, from my PC.
Try to move them first to another folder -using the file manager (for shared memory files) or your windows explorer (for MS files)-, then delete them from their new locations.

Sure it has, how could a previous model has a great feature and an UPDATED model of that previous/core model doesn't has it ??
