SC: There is a setting on the sync manager to syncronise the time of your cell and the PC. It automatically adjusts the time in your phone to the time on your PC.
Si Dude: I just tried this yesterday. The laptop recognised the memory card without software, but if you want to read the phone's inbuild memory, you would need to install the drivers.
The online shop will keep taking orders, i know because i used to work for them. They will keep taking business for a few days but se have told o2 they are re-testing them again and it will not be released until 4th july.
p.s. o2 dont even know their own stock levels so dont try asking them. I had to inform cust services themselves that the phone is out fo stock.
Getting very fed up with O2. They give out different information each time you contact them. I'm in no hurry as I want to keep my number and cost effective point to change contracts is in three weeks so will wait and see if they deliver it before then, otherwise it's off to Vodaphone...
Has anyone had a K750 from O2 since the 20th June? Better still, has anyone seen a deal that will give a K750 for free on O2 100 for £20 per month (12 month contract)? I'm not interested in cash back offers or such, just a straight like for like match. I'd like an unbranded phone but will not pay extra for it.
If you prefer the W800 camera side then get the D750 (T-Mobile) it's a K750 in a W800 case.
Haha, thx Si Dude, but time ain't on my side today.. I ain't waiting for the 2GB to be shipped in so I'm just gonna make do with the 1GB card. Furthermore, the 2GB MS nortoriously expensive!!! I think the cheapest brand available now for the 2GB is Sandisk, and it cost ard SG700.. With that kinda money, I can get another K750I =D
SC: I can't answet that so people who have the phone please try it!
Yes I said the phone will upgrade to 2GB external capacity and I think you could upgrade the firmware when it comes availble! Also there will be a CCD sensor instead of the CMOS but you have to get a new phone! Or you might have to get a new phone to get the 2GB capacity too as they may not let you download it! Anyway the card would be just a little bit slower to read it but like by 1 - 2 seconds, it is nothing and doesn't slow phone perfomace down, only reading it to access something from it but doesn't take long as I said 1 - 2 seconds.
I know someone posted similar problems before, but I don't know if it's been answered. I tried to sync K750i w/my Outlook, everything was fine when I used IR/Bluetooth, but when I tried to connect it with the USB cable, it moved all the Calendar event forward by one hour in the phone. Does anyone have solution for this yet? Thanks.
The memory upgrade is true, however, does it slows down the whole system?? It makes sense and does not make sense at the same time. Since the card is so much bigger, it is likely that it takes time to read, but if the memory sticks will slow things to a crawl, why would they invent it in the first place???
If this problem is not solved, its as good as the phone is stuck with its 64mb ms and discussing about 1 GB or 2 GB ms coming out is useless since using it will slow the phone to a crawl.
So have anyone actually went and purchase a ms and used it? Or is everyone here assuming stuff and only talking about the pros of having a 2 GB ms without looking at its drawbacks?
saw a few comments saying that the phone will have an upgrade in its external memory up to 2GB? And it will be out end of this year around Nov or Dec? If let say I've got the phone, can I upgrade whatever software in the phone so as to support the 2GB memory card?
just when i thought i had the best phone(sony ericsson k700) this one came out they both fit in your hand so nice they are not only cute but the battery life is great ... i sell cell phones and for me it is one of the best on the market now i can not wait untill they come with another model keep the good work up SONY .... for those coporate people this phone is just as good as a PDA... I LOVE MY SONY ERICSSON
This phone is sop much betetr than the Samsung D500 in Mp3 player, camera and features wise! Get this K750 for sure if you ahve a chice out of the D500 and this deffeianlty!
Video recording will last until your meory runs out so free some space if it doesn't last so long or go onto fine/high quality mode as there is for for MMS messeging that doesn't last that long, not sure how for though!
Cheers RT m8!
O2 should have stopped selling the SE K750 until they have sorted it out! You can put a T-Mobile sim in, just buy it sim free or on Orange and unlock it! Orange is the best one as the firmware has no problems that I know of! So you don't need the T-mobile D750! Vodafone’s Live should be able to be taken off by getting advice from Vodafone or the new firmware upgrade from SE I think at: http://www.sonyericsson.com/sp..._1&pid=10242
The phone can only hold 1GB memory cards so far and won't be able to hold 2GB and have a CCD sensor in the camera until November - December!
Oh RT: If you do not install any drivers can you still use the actual K750’s phone memory and just not see the memory sticks memory??
hey guys .... i'm about to buy this phone ,,but i don't know if it's better then the samsung d500 can somebody help me ...please!!!:D:D
I think k750i is a great looking phone, the front looks excellent (trust me I saw the real thing in store), however, i enjoy the w800i camera side because the center circle really looks like an optical zoom, this slider camera side, to me, looks like one of those cheap $60 ones with 5x digital zoom, of course all but samsung amcall 7MP phone has digital zoom, the appearance do have a psychological influence on you. the negative side is that this phone is $799 CDN and don't forgot a 14.5% tax. Some people might enjoy having the features separate(camera,mp3player,normal phone, etc)
Any one know if this K750i can record a long video clip than 10 seconds. That thing is just annoying to me. thanx for ue reply
The o2 online store is still selling them - I've even phoned the online store and they said they can deliver next day.
Not sure if the shops are just awaiting delivery, or if there have been further problems?! (Surely the online store would stop selling them as well though, if this was the case). O2 have said for a while that they will be selling them again from 20th June after having fixed the earlier problems...
Problem with o2, theyve stopped selling the k750i and it wont be releases until 4th july now, still having problems with it. Beware all current users, this phone mite be a problem.
Any one had the 2 GB or 1 GB memory card yet? The people at the shops(I went to 2 different shops) told me the phone would get incredibly sloooow if I get the card as it the phone takes time to read the card. Is this true?? Can anyone verify this?
Just got the K750i, the best phone i've had so far. amazinnnnnnnn
if u have any Qs, dont hesitate to ask
Got a Nokia 6230i 1 1/2 week ago, thought it was a nice business phone w/good reception, camera, MP3, user friendly, and sync very easily with Outlook via bluetooth/IR. But was very disappointed with the short battery life (lasts only 2 days of my usage), and there is always an echo when I'm talking on the phone. Then the bad quality 2-piece cover which became loose just after few days, not a big deal because I know I can get a better fitting cover with HK$25. But I wasn't going to take that for a brand new phone. Tried to exchange for another 6230i but found the same problem w/echo and loose cover. So I decided to pay a bit more for the SE 750.
750 was selling like hot cake, they must have sold 5 units within 30 min that I was there! Had it for 4 days now and so far everything works properly. I haven't experience any of the slowness or crash others have mentioned; navigation through the screen was just as quick as 6230i. Very user-friendly function and features. Good camera, MP3 with adjustable equalizer & bass when using included headphone, very good batter life (only at 45% w/3 days of usage!) Sync easily with Outlook w/bluetooth/IR/or included USB cable.
Shortcoming: the earpiece was on the weak side, when in noisy places I had to cover my other ear so I can hear. I know I can always turn on the loud speaker but I didn't want others to hear. I would say max it's at 75% of 6230i (which was very loud, if u dont mind the echo). Other than that, nothing much to complaint about.
Overall, I love the phone, very good built quality, just a very solid great looking phone.
