i bought my phone from plemix for $485 on 25/5/2005. Now the price is $442
does it alow background play for the music player and radio- only available on NOIKIA and MOTOROLAS
I got a K750 a couple of days ago on O2 for free, though it suffered from a signal problem to begin with (though I am told this was a general prob with the O2 network in my area over Bank Holiday). All in all it's pretty good, well worth what I paid.
Pretty solidly constructed and has some nice features like good zoom on the camera, although the flash/light drains the battery real fast.
Although it's a good phone, personally I think anyone who pays the £200+ price tag that was mmentioned is a little daft.. its good, but not that good.
People who bought the phone can u plz put up the price (along with the curren ofcourse) ;)
Can anyone help...I've just gone from the S700i to the K750i. Wi the S700i I got a contact pic on screen for txt messages i received but for the K750i I don't and they go straight to the inbox where I have to retrieve them? Is this just normal and a step back?
I got this phone five days ago on Vodafone (unbranded and straight from SE) and it's excellent. I have not experianced any crashes or problems - touch wood! The camera quality is brilliant as is the phone.
it's a cmos senser...they should have used a ccd..would have been better for low light and indoor's...but there is a rumor that there is going to be a ccd senser put into the phone..
I just want to ask if the cam of K750i is CCD or CMOCE ? pls asnswer me at my Email : firstname.lastname@example.org or here and thak you
Ares , thats ok all forgiven lol...u can get some good picture's with the k750i under low lighting, just say in a house where there aint alot of day light coming you can get alittle noise in the picture out side is alot better..like now they are saying about putting a ccd senser into the phone to have less noise under low lighting..
after what i call a good search i found that :
the w800 and k750 phones can take up to 4 GB memory stick PRO DUO but they haven't been made yet only the 1GB are available and the 2GB had been announced and will be globally available by the end of this year and the beginning of the next and the 4GB ones by the 2Q of the next year
I would guess that at least 200 sms could be stored on the phone as my LG could store 250. Also yes you can use this phone in any Country I believe. And as for EDGE no this phone doesnt have it.
Hi, just got the phone. All features are great, but the earpeice volume is really really low when taking calls. Speaker or the hands free works great in the same conditions.
Can something be done about this?
@dun, sorry for the "dumb" thing...i only meant k750 is a better camera overral, compared with 6630...even the low light is not bad from what i´ve seen
@ump001, you are WAY wrong: k750 plays AAC, MP4, and has multitasking for everytthing!!! You can minimize java apps, radio, media player, My Friends, etc...there´s nothing betta in the 6230 or 6230i except for EDGE for people who need it...
question for tommy........
do you have any idea how many SMS can be stored on the phone ? please let me know
can you use the phone in USA ? I live in Belgium
support EDGE ?
Also I have not experienced any bugs with this phone so far. (I bought it sim free) The phone speed is average when browsing through menus etc. Not too slow not that fast. The only lag I notice is when browsing pictures I have taken with the phone previously. The video is rubbish at first but after I had figured out how to change it, it is pretty good. Just select high quality videos instead of mms quality.
i hav being waiting for this model for months... and now i own it.. its fabulous... unlimited video recording and the video is clear... 2 megal pixel camera. memory up to 1 GB.. i love it!!!
im from the uk and i have a old nokia phone and this k750i and both are about the same on reception..
I live on the UK
My service provider is o2 UK
The reception on this phone is average to be honest. Whenever I look at it sometimes the reception bars have gone down to 2 for no reason. I suppose it depends on the network you are are and the kind of area you live in. I would give the overall reception rating a 7/10.
The phone is alot better than the previous phone I had,an LG U8120.
Any other questions please ask.
