How can you compare the Samsung I310 to the K790? The K790 is meant as an advanced camera phone which it is. The I310 is an Mp3 phone, it has a dedicated mp3 interface but its camera is only 2mp and is fixed focus. Heres a plan, compare phones that are meant to be compared.

I always think it is funny when people get on a forum topic about a specific phone, and make comments about another phone like:

"this phone has no match to samsung i310."

My response is, so? I can understand someone complaining about a phone (in this case the K790), and saying because of some issue with the phone they are going to purchase the samsung i310 (or whatever phone). I would simply have to say, people come on these forums to discuss the phone in question, and learn as much as they can before they decide to buy, and simply saying samsung i310 is better just makes you look stupid. (NOTE: I have nothing against the samsung i310, only against stupid people, that make stupid comments).

Oh my god. It seems according to the preview by GSM Arena the K790 will come only with a standard headphone and not music headphone. Please somebody confirm.

unfortunetly the video size only qcif, w900 video size is better qvga 30 fps.

announcement:

according to this website this model may be relased earliest by 3rd qtr of 2006. also they mentioned that the keys on this model is "terrible". at last it has bluetooth stereo! makes me wonder sometimes bcoz since SE is one of the inventor/s of bluetooth they are still one of the late one to come up with it..

I had almost given up on SonyEricsson, but this just shows that SE has raised the stakes considerably. I am more than impressed. It's a truly beautiful phone. Bring it on...

SE phones gets better and better. But i am more favorable if you guys make one with navi keys instead of joystick. But both works the same for me. Now SE is making the right moves.............

Yes folks, SE has two versions to choose from. There's the 800 version if you need one with 3G support. And since I don't use 3G for calling, the 790 version works for me (MMS is enough).

Why buy a diver's watch if you can't swim?!

i always think about about those people who against SE.i think SoneEricsson is best.Se provide us a beautiful range of mobiles.SE is not like nokia sets.its mobiles are stuped.SE give u a new sense in mobile it provide us best music sound in mobiles and nice picture qulity.i love it i always pray for S.E.GOODluck SE

good point. If you also read the posting rules it states:

Why should always the same ppl write bad things about SE and vice versa.

If you don't like joystick, just don't buy the phone. If you want ogmogm camera with carl zeiss lenses than buy 150g+ mobile phone which still makes crappy pic and with big lump of a camera becomes less MOBILEphone.

So my opinion. This GSM is too big. But i won't go shouting about it couse i know it can't get smaller. If it could it would be. How are they suposed to get all this feautures in it otherwise. I love joystick, couse when i tried 5 way round buttons i couldn't hit desired way and i had to move my thumb arround to be able to press desired way. I don't need symbian. Couse i have a PC, if you don't i'm sry. Most of todays software is very similar so you can't go and say that's nokia's is better couse it depends on users and way of use. The most important feauture is calling, so i want to be able to grap phone in ONE hand and make call in >5s (i can actually do that with my T300). That's phone for me. Camera is a nice feauture but again i don't need x-ray camera in case if my friend hurts his leg. I don't except HI-FI sound out of mobile phone. I just want to hear my m8 in every situation and he needs to hear me.
If you use WLAN you're one of few, so why bother with 0.01% of costumers who're not buying this phone couse of that beside that phone would probably get extra mm or g. You can always pont out that you find this a problem but you can't say now that this phone is crap now. crap. no. i won't argue. crap.

I hope you could all just type smth usefull, because when i'm reading that i want to learn about phone in constructive way. Not just read NOKIA ownzzzzzzz, SE roxxxxx, SAMSUNG>ALL.
I'll give you an example of a constuctive comment: I don't find K750 camera good, because i compared it with N90 and the picture was less detailed, blurry and colours were very pale. Some of you write CANNON cameras are better than SONY. So this phone's camera sux.
And design is very very personal, so i don't know why should everybody point out that they like theyr teddy bears colour and shape more than this phones.

I know i wasn't perfect with that post but atleast i tried. That counts imho.
