Great phone again, i just wish they would release the phones they present before presenting others, surely its to their benefit, ive been wanting a new phone for ages now and keep holding off because i see a better one is just around the corner! rant over

I hope they do a walkman phone like this cos that flip phone one sounds rubbish. The k750 and w800 are the same so the should and this is like and upgrade to the k750. Maybe a 3g walkman version aswell.

Will K800 or K790 have the same sound quality of W800 or W810 along with equalizer and Mega Bass ?

Will K800 or K790 come with the same Ear Plugs like W800 or W810 or will they come with a normal headphone like K700 ?

if se would invent a slide phone....then omg is a killer phone..
Beware samsung n nokia :-)

Cyber-shot + walkman + psp mini(maybe) + touchscreen + slider phone = all in one perfect phone. Maybe in the far far future. haha XD

TO STEVEN:
I don't think Sony will ever grow up.
Their cyber shot cameras suck anyway, so you can't expect them to have a decent camera inside the phone either.

Also, not to mention that Ericsson was very close to Nokia in phone quality before Sony has acquired Ericsson and it became a joke since then.

Yea so when will they ever get out of the tri-band phase? Just when you think they finally start to make some quads(W810 and W600), they baffle you with a killer flagship tri-band. Quad-band is a make-or-break feature for me, apparently SE doesn't think it's so important(NONE of the major manufacturers do except maybe Motorola and now Nokia). Sorry, but when they do make quads with the high-rez screen and good camera and all, I will gladly shell out the money.

lmao @ people still complaining, soon there will be a phone with all features then people wil be asking wheres the jetpack, this phone is straight finally Se got out of the 176x220 phase.

GREAT CAMERA - I AGREE.
BUT SONY: WHEN WILL YOU GROW UP?

AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN:
-Small screen 2.0(Dig. cameras today 2.5-3.0!)
-Joystick again! (this is a camera phone, not a video game!)
-Small phone size again! (for those with girlie hands, that can't hold a decent weigh)
-Due to a girlish design, inconvinient keypad again

CONCLUSION?
SONY: GROW UP!!!!

yeah to bad sony ericsson can mix the 2 bands like Nokia did with the n80 and 6233, but still the n80 owns this one in feature set.

Obviously, this phone has the best combination of features to date although I dislike the styling in the joystick area-could be cleaner IMO. Unlike this phone, the k750, has a very little waste of valuable real estate but I quess how are you going to fit in all those features! The screen looks a bit small in comparison to the size of the phone. I guess I was expecting Wilma and not Betty. I'll still buy it though for the features alone.

For the individual that said they "tested" this phone already, and that the pictures suck, I know I am not going to believe some random source. Not because I am "SE lover," but because it would be stupid to just believe someone that randomly posts on a forum. I will wait until it is actually reviewed by GSMarena and other sites and base my decision on that. If it turns out that the phone doesn't live up to the hype, I will probably go with my back up chose, the Samsung D600.
