I just got this the SE K800i the other day,this phone is realy smart,its advanced flash allows pictures to be taken in pitch darkness,picture quality is excellent,both at night with the flash on and during the day,picture qualty is very smooth,mp3 sound quality is good,and the phone is very quick,no sign of slowin down or freezing.The phone has a solid feel it proving its no cheap toy.

Hi craig,

I have a k790i cell, and i have encountered the same problem twice. As a temporary solution, you can goto call history, and "delete all" call history. After that, the history will be stored. This has worked for me both the times.

Please read Z's comments properly before commenting. He did not mention N73 does not have CARL ZEISS LENS.. By the way, N73 has CARL ZEISS LENS..

yeah nokia made a mistake of not putting a CARL ZEISS LENS on N73. so what does SE has to say to the N95 with a CARL ZEISS LENS?!? what? the upcoming Silver K800 with a cheap Sony Cybershot lens? lol

My first Sony Phone having been a Nokia Girl before, I am very pleased with the wide range of functions on offer and their quality. The camera is amazing considering it is a Phone, the screen is bright and very sharp and the menu functions logical. Love the blogging facility direct from the camera function. It is a little large and I would prefer something a little smaller but you can't have it all. Excellent battery life and very clear sound and call reception. The volume is nice and loud so even I hear it from the bottom of my bag! Excellent!

Just think a bit. K800 has Cybershot tech. that Sony uses in it's digiCams. N73 has what ? Nokia tech... I'm sorry i haven't heard until now about Nokia cameras....my bad.So for these hard headed Nokia fans, try to think outside the box

ppl.. ia mtrying ti install the se update service for weeks now... i cant get pass the "review before install" page.. but the installing indicate's on "installing". what to do

why k800 photo downloading to PC very slow, comparing to any type of nokia phone.

thats wierf... my phone search.. it find the r1de001 !!! . it ddl it ( cost e 10$ wap service grrrrrrrrrrr) and install by it self... have nothing to do but confirm.!!!!it even the same theme will be applied..nothing lost...at All/////

bozo : go to settings > ptofile > update service

Yes, i did try the infone software update option, but the damn thing searches and then tells me i've already got the latest software - which i obv havent..im on o2 if that makes any odds?

Guys, im havin trouble finding my software info, i tried the shorcuts you guys posted, even tried searching for it manually, my phone is from south africa, does that make a diffrence??
My settings menu is like this:
General; sounds & alerts; display; calls; connectivity;

my phone history(call log) didn't work when i first got it but a few days ago it suddenly worked again

bozo...to check ur software click
menu > # > 4 > 2
to all who wanna update there firmware.. i did it through the phone wap service... i checked for software.. it found one.. the phone ddl it install it adn thene restart the phone... u dont have to dl a thing.. took about 10 min all the procedure.. even my 3 yr old bro can d it...just check for update.. confirm downloading.then leave....

to check for update.... menu > # > 4 > 1

I've been told to goto sony's site, have tried to down load a software update from there, but no luck. Then other people keep going on about firmware updates, im clueless, can anyone tell me step by step what needs to be done at all?!
