Re: Fixing Low Battery Life

The trick is to switch from 3G to GSM for ordinary voice calls, and then back for fast(er) net/email and video calls. (I don't know a lot about it, but I've been told that 3G sucks battery power like crazy, especially in areas where the 3G coverage is intermittent.)

Call SE help to find out where the switching option is in the phone.

check the battery life..coz with no battery...it will suck donkey balls...and go with the rythm...go for what u fing suiteable for u...good luck.....and get the n80 the silver one..coz the black is chinese with the most bugs...the silver is filand with less bugs...lol...check this out!!

i live in iran and in iran k800 and n80 have same price!
but i want a cell phone which is very great in all things,have good camera,good view,etc
but i think nokia cell phones are really better than SE!!
that is right?
i have another question:why in gsmarena.com n80 have a first place by rank??
and i think n80 is sexier than k800,n80 is so beautiful!! :D

Guys.

I just got a Moto HT820 (stereo headset) and it rocks with this phone! The sound quality is great! I recommend that u use a bluetooth headset on this phone if ur not that satisfied with the speakers, coz the sound control wont be coming from the phone but from the headset, so u can make it louder.

BTW, i havent updated the FW yet and im not having any issues, maybe sometimes when i try to overload the phone, hehe... But getting the latest FW will surely make the phone superb.

Just been looking around, as I want it for music I think the w850 would be a better choice! I was hoping to get the w950 but it's not out until 2007 and I have to upgrade next month at the same time my contact is due!!!

ste.. it does not come with any card...u have to buy some...
some say that the 1gb makes the phone slow..some say it would make it slow if the phone memory is near full...i would recommened the 512 mb....

and take the black one not the brown... it is more pro,..

nathan....i have this phone or about 2 weeks now...non single problem what so ever.with any thing...it seems that u r the first one to cmplain about battery..farnkly..i forgot when the last time i charge i...honestly..!!!

I used this phone for the first 3 days and had to charge it 6 times! After that the battery settled and I get a full day and a half now. Software is better and even though the 'dreaded' Sony egg timer pops up occassionally it is for a milli second only and moves along very well.
Music player is good and the camera awesome although it nails the battery if its used with the flash 4 or more times.
I would recommend this phone to any user from young music lovers to business people alike. The screen does scratch easily and even with a crystal case mine is showing wear and tear after a month.
Excellent spec though overall with no gliches as of yet!!?? :) The only other phone I would look at is the W710, which is not available yet, apparently, in UK format.

i have been trying to install the SE udate service for about 4 days now...i dl it.. run it ..and press install...and nothing..i waited 3 hrs..and the tag still on install ( the picture that is showing is the one before the preinstall..) but nothing..how could i do it...

i really wanna update the firm ware...and 7 euro for one who got k800i for 500$ is nothing...but the problme is that i doont have visa or anything..i pay cash every thing...so how can i pay in paypal!!!..thisis my problem...if a friend of mine pay it through his computer..will it work ( i eman he oays from a computer and i access from another computer and another country)....
does it work..or is there another solution...

( i was ash...jack..john....) lol.. :) .. just wanna have alil play..sorry guys...dont judge..

MARKJAYSON: just buy it there's nothing to worry about. update the firmware at wotanserver.com (forum at wotanforum.com) and all the bugs are fixed. i've had no trouble with mine.

R1ED001 - newest (current) release
R1CF001 - second release
R1CB001 - first release

ASH: just and pay the 7 euro for the upgrade. it's nothing considering SE haven't even released it yet.

coz u r the first one to say soo!!!..
all said that u have t rechrge each day min1 time..
and besides that...n80 has some bugs as i heard and hangs.etc..u know...
but if it does not has alll these..and u dont want a professional cam...just a gr8 cam....n80 to go for.......but if u dont look for the perfection in every thing .. k800i is a fantastic gr8 sexy phone...i have it fo about 1 week..not even a single problem
r1cf001 is my version...but the sound is a lil bit less than other phone..but not that big thing ( in speaker on)

nima lsn.....i as convinced for about 2 months that i am gonna get the n80..i have been nokia favorite for all my life...but look at this way....what is the differene between n80 and k800i........n80 has wireless and better vedio.....adk ur self...how often do u use those???......and the camra in k800i is better...more pro. and the battery in n80 suckss!!!...and even if it has gps and radar for police...what the use of it if the battery dont last half a day with out use!!!!!......man go for k800i.........it kickS!!!!!!!!nad soo sexy too..really mean it..i just like lookin at it..take the black one...
