Hey people. Just want to know something. Is this phone 22mm thick at the thickest point? (which is the lens) Or is it the body of the phone that is 22mm thick? THanks.

i just broke the piggy bank to buy this phone and i have to say i'm impressed. i had my heart set on the Nokia n73 but when i saw this, played with it - it was more than enough for me. awesome camera, sleek design. what more could a girl want? i was concerned about the toggle - its a sony ericsson point of concern but so far no problems. anything i should be aware or guys? please let me know!! i might still get the nokia n73 - unless someone can give me a good reason why not. thanks.

@Joe
If you look at the website that our friend Tarantula has given;I think you must choose K800i if you want the best camera and not too care about the video quality.
But if you need smartphone,than you can choose N73.

Traditionally I am a Nokia user since 1995 when I had my first 2110i...(with the exception of a T610 in 2003).My last phone was the 6680, a very nice phone. Since 2 months I have the N80, a big disappointment as the battery could not make it for one full day. Then I was given this company K800 to try and after 7 days I decided to keep it and give the N80 back. Next month I have an N73 coming up, let's see.

View this comparisson made by a professional photographer, between N73-N93-LG KG920-SE K800
http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en...ws_id=caf44c
And the winner is... Obviously K800, like here in GSMarena. All people look for a vibrant colors in a camera but in N73 are oversaturated, overexposed. Only for the novices N73 is the best. The colors are completely unnatural, especially blue tint. You clearly seen this fact in the flower close-up, while K800 manages the best color balance and better macro mode. Simply K800 beats N73, although it hurts to them (nokia boys)

It's interesting reading everyones comments about the K800i. I guess everyones opinions are valid as everyone wants different things from a phone and has different values.
From my experience I think this phone is fantastic. Previously I had a Nokia 3230 smartphone. It was OK but the camera wasn't great and the music player was useless. I though I would use the smartphone functionality and although I did download numerous programs and games I generally used most of the in-built functionality.
The K800i for me is great. The camera is fantastic (for a phone) with flash and heaps of features especially 'best pic'. The music payer quality is great and it's functioality is perfectly OK for a player that will be used when I'm out and about and don't want to bring my main music player. I like the way the phone is set out and operates and must admit although I've never had a SE before I find it very intuitive. Yes I can't download any symbian apps but it has most things I want anyway. For me it does three things really well 1. Great phone 2. Awesome camera 3. Excellent music player.
I'd definitely recomend this phone but it does depend what you want.

i really like this phone. i am tryin to decide between the SE w810i or the SE k800. the only thing that i am worried about the SE k800 is the joystick im afriad it is going to malfunction in the future and the size of the phone. is there chances of the joystick going out. and the only reason why id rather get the k800 over the w810 is the k800 is the latest SE phone on the market. please advise. thank you so much if you can help.
