i think that the phone keypad supposed to glow at dark..mne is not glowing!!!. why.. help plz.

ADAM: That 'dead phone' you have is due to an error in the EROM. It can happen to anyone's k800. Only way to fix the error that causes a dead phone (before it dies ofcourse) is to upgrade the EROM at WotanServer.com from R3A011 to R3A016.

DJBLAKEL: Flashing the k800 doesn't remove the sim lock. However, flasing the phone to debrand it and upgrade the firmware, I highly recommed. I do it to my k800, just be sure to follow the instructions exactly.

ASH: I have a 1G memory stick micro and it doesn't slow the phone down. I know; I've compared it to my bro's k800 with a 512mb card. Phone only slows down if you fill the 64mb internal memory.

VALEN: Fix that bug and others by flashing to the latest k800 firmware at WotanServer.com

CALL LOG ISSUE: It is fixed with the latest firmware.

Latest firmware is R1ED001 MR1 (master release 1).

Wotan releases new firmware before SE does.

PHONE LANGUAGE: You can change your phone's language if you flash your phone with the latest firmware by selecting it in the language options.

Go to wotanserver.com to update firmware (which fixes the bugs)/ debrand phone/ turn off camera sound/ increase SMS storage/ update EROM.

Wotan is fee based (7 euro). The latest firmware is R1ED001 MR1, which I have.

goog but too slower than n series .n70 is slow like k800.but other n series phones r very fast and interestig .sony ericson problem is that it connat made phone like nokia full feature

Amazing phone but HAS a MAJOR PROBLEM.....

im using SE S700i and SE K750i now and planning to get a new phone. in my mind now im planning to get either SE K800i or SE W810i. can anyone please tell me the difference between them and can SE K800i plays MP3 like SE W810i or SE K750i? or is SE K800i is just a phone with good camera quality without a MP3 player? can anyone give me an advice on which phone shall i buy?

Can someone tell me if the side button on memory slot that plays music if it plays only mp3's please and if you can turn the mobile off and still listen to mp3?

My girlfriend and I just got K800i awesome phone and great as a pair cause of the games work via Bluetooth only downfall is NO EXTRA MEMORY what are you doing Sony and changing the memory from the old d800 I have 2Gb of old memory thats usless to me but the phone is great .:-)

All SE phones do come with the basic functions of stopwatch, alarm and calcultor.

i own k800i and YES, it has alarm, stopwatch, calculator, calendar, tasks, notes, timer, sound recorder, code memo (storage for credit card no., passwords, etc)

any one can help me? i juz got my se k800.. the phone is cool but i have one problem.. whenever i stroll up the phone book.. the phone will auto restart itself.. any ppl has this problem too ? what shd i do wit it? help pls.. thanks

I had nokia phones, haven't tried sony ericsson - but i'm planning to get K800. Just wondering if it has an alarm clock, stopwatch, calculator, etc. It doesn't say in the specifications. Thanks!

This phone does not differ much from the w810 except the camara . I tried both of them and i had to get rid of them both and go back to my nokia 6230 version 5.70. The reason? Nokia has better software louder mp3 and lets you access more Wap sites as oppose to sony ericsson that displays an error message : the page you selected is unavailable please choose another page. So no wonder that Nokia is the #1 seller in the world. I tried them all believe me i spent hundreds of dollars buying and selling BUT I Know NOKIA IS THE BEST

i personaly think that it is a very nice and capable phone,it is a bit big though actually that applies 2 all sony ericson phones if they were smaller they would bit nokia&samsung cause their output is very clearer.

hey...i am a big fan of nokia (dince 3310)...but now i am gonna buy the k800 instead of n80 coz of the battery and bugs......heard it has a calling log problem..where to upgrade FREE...and i wanna add a language to it (hebrow)...adn another Q..i am considering buying a 512 mb card...coz i heard that the 1G makes the phone slow??.. is it right.....really need help guys...waiting for answers.....have a good day..
