It was hard to find a good phone that has good reception. I have gone though 4 phones in a year due to bad reception and this phone hasn't let me down yet.

The power life isnt to bad on it however it coud last longer though.

One of the things that stand out is that you can run multi applications at once eg. listen to MP3's or listen to the radio, while playing game or doing what ever you need to do.

Overall it's a good phone and all applications run quickly also the camera isnt too bad on it.

Really tempted to get this phone but going by comments here and elsewhere it sounds it has poor signal strength like most SE handsets. Might opt for the N73 just because Nokia have better reception.

@TIM

Yes - the phone charges using USB - if you do not have the drivers installe ( eg: inside the office ) u can use file transfer mode and it will charge.

Yes again - It is detected as a mass storeage device when ur using file transfer mode - even if you do not have the software installed.

When you connect ur phone to ur computer - it will show 2 folders on My computer - Phone and mem stick.

Yes - you can actually just diable 3G by setting the network to just GSM.

YES YES YES - it is A2DP! so its stereo - try using a Moto ht820 and it sound outrageously great. ive compared it to a N80 and man k800 sounds over a2dp rocks. I think N80 doesnt support A2DP.

@Jack

K800i wont be an ioption if ur looking for great speakers - but if u will be suing headsets ( wired or bluetooth - SE is great with sound )

@Jay

Wotanserver is fee based right? coz i tried it and its asking me to pay - the SE updater says it have the latest one - R1CB001

hi, i am thinking about getting this phone...
but i have a few questions... that shop owners haven't been able to anwser...

does the phone charges over USB?
does the phone works as a USB mass storage?
if so, how do you choose between the card and internal memory?

also can you force the phone to use GSM? (by disabling 3G or something like that)

go to www.wotanserver.com and www.wotanforum.com to update the phone firmware and remove the operator branding + more.

the latest firmware R1ED001 has most of the bugs fixed.

Anyone knows if games can be installed into the memory stick micro like nokia? can files received by bluetooth be saved directly into the memory card like Nokia N70?

You can set it to auto - red eye - or of... so its up to u.... auto means that it will detect wether the environment needs flash...

you wont be able to access the flash in some modes..

I'm thinking of getting this phone pretty soon but I just wanted to know if the flash on the camera is automatic? Or do I have have to go through the menu to turn it on manually like the k750.

I've had a similar problem with my k800, but managed to get mine repaired. I tured the handset off and then back on, only to find there was no text on the screen :s

Couldnt read messages, or see who was calling even. Hope the new software update has sorted this?
