to ady: number of pixels doesn't really speak for anything but output size for picture print outs. it doesn't have much to do with the quality of photos though. although i share your sentiment with the cam comparison thing since sharp phones basically destroy se and nokia when it comes to cam quality. but then again, samsung phones are really not well known for cam quality but by the screen quality only - nothing more than that if i may add

aaa..P.S..sony ericsson and nokia...is ..bad bad bad on camera.....why ???..because samsung have 10 mega pixel camera phone ...so....3.2 ......haha :)

Sony Ericsson is always my love. K800 is also a very nice phone with very nice features like 3.2 MP AF Camera, i compare the picture quality of K800 with Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-P100 and i m shocked the picture quality is almost same, Hey WILMA (K800) will u be my next girlfriend ???

The K800 looks like a great phone. Does anyone know if it comes with World Mate Lite application installed, similar to what the Z800i has?

hy..i have 1 simple question..why samsung doesn't challenge nokia and sony ericsson ..at 3mp camera ?...samsung z710 has 3.2mp camera ...why ?

How to challenge NOKIA when all the new sony ericsson phones have NO WI-FI! (Wireless LAN) Why sony? Why? Definately lose out.

Another person wanting to know when the K800 is being released!

SE have told me June, O2 have told me three different dates (End of May, sometime in June now their website states its available July)

SE have always, in my opinion, given the best quality of phones, that are easy to use and compact. If anyone can find a better phone let me know!

another for deepak: walkman and k-seires/p-seriees have far better cameras even than nokia if you are one of the blind nokia loyalist then you say it's same but not nokia have just put carl-zeiss in their phones to again attract people to buy that imaging phone but actually not the best and better or even equal you are saying: nokia just put high-standard features inc. wifi,edge and carl-zeiss just to hide it's inferiority to it's quality people knows that.. and put it in a very bulky case and we people who are blind are quickly attracted. saying this is the best! i'm gonna grab one! and after some months of use again posting in their forum that this phone sucks! bulky and sluglish! lagging and etc.

people i'm not persuating all of you to go to SE or samsung but make a clear eye to it's satbility and quality of everything would you like to sacrifice your money just to that stuff? but in my opinion, SE makes a high quality phone that i have used their phones for a long time (im a t68 user before and nothing happend that screwed me)...

deepak you think nokia has better batery backup? nope everyone disagree... w-series walkman phones have the best battery backup- due to it's walkman mode, can play up to 30 hrs and nokia hasn't that feature they need to use the symbian os for making their best multimedia and camera phones but not the best in all phones. even samsung i300 cannot beat walkman phones in battery backup and even ROKRs. that's the reason why walkman series are the top music phones today

hey, i want to know which phone will have a nicer diplay, K800 or K610, the first one has better functions but K610 looks a lot nicer. I know this one has a 240x320 and K610 has only a 176x220. And when will they get out in Slovenia?

the basic difference that i c between NOKIA and SONY is that , NOKIA gives better battery backup when ur playing songs for long hours. and the camera quality is almost same.....

Please, nokia is 1st phone maker, but the mayor sales are in budget class.
SE have the best quality in multimedia phones like walkman and cybershot, they focalized their production in market necessity and no need to produce a millions of smartphones, all buggiest and slow, like nokia.
Who says that SE is no innovative phone maker, do you remember phones like Ericsson T39m, Ericsson T68m, SE T68i, SE T610, K750, all P series (the most usefull)
Nokia produce a lot of symbian phones, but all are buggy and slow, this is the giant phone maker??????
Music and camera quality always is mediocre, like nokias OS S60, the most mediocre OS that you will find in the world. S60 cant be compared with UiQ, windows mobile and Linux.
UiQ is the best in all aspects, this OS crush S60 starting by the fact that is a touchscreen OS, simply is more usefull.
The N80 cant be compared to P990 becuase the last one simple beat N80 starting again by UiQ, and tech including in both phones are almost the same, but P990 surpassed N80.
And again SE beat Nokia in this camera comparison, K800 is the best and is an excellent 3g phone with the best photo quality.
N80 is a great smartphone, but you will have better options from others manufacturers, is just matter of time.
For guys waiting for N93, dont hope that the photo quality in N93 are great, remember the case of N90 with K750, the more lighter and cheaper K750 simply beat the Carl Zeiss N90.

it seems that people will talk and talk about the competition between NOKIA and SE but noone seems to be talking about the release date of the k800! I dont really care about the competition because everyone always has a fav brand and im sure thats the same with many other people, so again, WHEN THE HELL IS THIS PHONE COMING OUT!?
