I share your idees, as I thought You could see from my previous points, by I think think the problem with this discussion is that there are some people that know about phones and can asses their qualities without obvious arguing, and they are the minority( like You and Dreadnought), and they are the majority- who trying to rate the phones by their own preferences and after clearly losing an argument they are trying to grasp for some other clearly debatable ones. I salut people like You and Dreadnought and wish You good luck in your just battle against SE Fans , Azlans and ppl like that!

k800 might be all that good but signal sucks, all SE have a signal problem...

This phone is a mobilephone. That is what this site is about isent it? The Nokia N80 is a NOT a mobile phone. The batteri is so weak that you propably will have to charge it 2-3 times per day. If you don't use it at all the battery might last 1 day, if you'r lucky.. The K800 is much better than the Nokia N80 in batteri and size. And the N80 is better in screen and it has wlan.

For those who are expecting to buy this fone for its cam will later find out that the cam is not so good.I've saw pics of the k790i with its final firmware and its not that great but is still better than n80 due to lack of autofocus.I think that the k790i/k800i will be comparable to Samsung SGH-Z710.

to N80RuleZZZZ. I think it's better you STFU! because the difference is not just a megapixel. Go to SE website, then you'll see lots of differences!

This is the position of this device, a Digitall Still Camera. This is the segmentation market for SE, is the same for Walkman line. If you wanīt all tech available go with P990 that has all that N80 plus touchscreen, card reader and a lot of functions with Symbian UiQ 3.0, that is more friendly and sophisticated than S60. K800 is a real camera phone, with great features:
3,2 MegaPixels, Autofocus, Xenon Flash, Best pic, image stabilizer, panorama mode, QVGA screen, great macro mode.
The phone:
GSM/GPRS/UMTS, RDS radio, media player (mp3, AAc, eAAC, WAV, etc) video formats suported (mpeg4, real 8 video), QCIF video recording, video call, support memory stick Micro M2 up to 1Gb, Pict Bridge, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile support, IRDA, Netfront browser, RSS reader, Java, etc.
If you compare N80 lacks the quality of camera but only has the advantage of symbian (install third-party apps) and WiFi, N80 is a SMARTPHONE with worse 3mpix camera, while K800 is a CAMERA PHONE with stunning 3mpix camera. This is the true Dreadnought

Thats what i have been saying all along,THAT the fact N80 is way much better than K800i.the fact that N80 offers more and has new things that no phone in the world has offered before,UPnp.

but guess what?they never understand,they just love SE without thinking,they will go for SE no matter if its good or bad.no matter if there is better or not they will just go for SE,cause they are just FANS!!

People here think i'm a NOKIA fan BUT i'm NOT.i just look for the best and go for it no matter whats the companies name on that phone.

you canīt tell how good a phone is by looking how good the company does. And I think itīs just the opposite; the K800 canīt be compared with the N80. In the long run K800 is just a toy which can take photos (almost as good as a proper real cam) and play music. Even though the N80 lacks autofocus and a text that says CyberShot, it still outruns this thingie 100-0 thanks to all the other functions it has that this can only dream about.
Iīm not a Nokia fan. Thatīs just the truth and no more...

NORM,,, no the k800i will be out on vodafone and 02 for deffo its just as only 02 as stated as to yet a release date n they say july on there network,but vodafone will state a release date soon and they will av it id say in may or june,im on vodafone anyways 3000mins xnet anytime with stop the clock and roll over mins plus unlimited texs and picture messaging hehehe

This is the reason for the N90... hahaha. This very bulky phone with plastic carl zeiss lens loose to more cheaper k750 in camera, the same is between k800 and n80... N80 slider is very bulky and slider part is the same that ones in 6280, very bad!!

N80 will hit the s...t out of this phone. Who ever cares about this bulky and very ugly camera phone when you can have style and technology in the package of the N80. Well if your needs are depended on Digital Cameras, go buy a Nikon and let mobiles do what they are supposed to do.... Oh well no wonder SE has branded the CyberShot on mobile phones....For technology freaks out there who think that the cameras take the pictures but not the camera holder....

this fone is listed by 02 to come out in july,but vodafone will get it earlier,its listed on the 02 website on coming soon fones to be out in july on there network

to my mind, SE ruulez, I currently have k750i but am gonna switch to k800i. At least, I can be sure that i got the phone which gives nme the most of the current technology in one piece. I've had nokias before, and had to pick between features and style. Nokias atre ugly, nobody who is serious and non-pretentious will purchase any nokia
