I was just playing with the pre-release model K800. God damn that thing looks nice. Operation seems pretty smooth. Can't wait for the actual release.

WTF???no mp3 megabass option??? I taught is was standard in Sony Ericsson future high end camera phone.I guess i will stick to my K750 and wait for later W-series.

K800 is a HUGE phone. If samsung would make a phone which has d size of K800, they would probably put all possible features that you can ask for.Samsung has 5 or 10 Megapixel camera phones (CDMA) but their size are still small.That's what people want in a phone. Only stupid people would prefer a big phone with so much features than a right-sized phone with enough features. Y?because a phone is for calling/texting, not for camera or mp3.No phone can replace a digicam and an ipod.Well, some can, like SE & Nokia, but that would make their phone so BIG, like in the case of N91 & K800i.

the N80 takes brilliant video outside but tried it at a gig last week and the quality was so bad i thought it was faulty!!! even my old k750 was better so if you are after a good video phone i'd give the nokia a miss!! The n93 is reported to be fabulous if you can be bothered waiting again but i'd give it a good testing before commiting yourself to keeping it!!

lots of people...me included... seem to be sending back the n80 in favour of the SE K800...yeah it's not a smart phone but who really uses all that stuff. unless you use a phone for business or are a phone geek you'll find the SE does everything you need...and does it well. it's not the prettiest phone in the world but the picture quality will make up for that. there's no point having a phone that's all singing all dancing if it doesn't do what it says on the box like the nokia.

the n80 is better for thr fact it has wlan and symbian 9.1.except for these i've read that beeing so complex gives many headaches because it often crashes and you have problems with the drivers.on the other hand the k800 has a simple to use very nice interface an outstanding camera with steadyshot and xenon and the sound in the headphones is very good in comparison with the n80 .

On my 4th Nokia N80 within 2 weeks, it is slow, bulky and the standby / talk time is absolutely rubish !! Told O2 to take this phone back and send me a SE K800i ! Can't wait... Had SE 750i before... Should have stuck with the SE brand. Anyway, it is all done now and I'm getting my SE 800i next week. ;o)

What are you talking about? This phone got the most horrible design i ever seen! front doesnt go together with back of the phone. That metal grill of speaker doesnt go with design of the laudspeker on the back. That lenscover is sticking out 4mm -what was they thinking! SE forgot that this is a phone in a first place and you need to put it into the pocket somehow! Oh and this "Big Board" below the screen, couldnt they make it any bigger!
P.S. I was waiting for replacement of mine k750, but after saw this...decided i better go for nokia.

just orded k800i (pre-order) on o2 online with a delivery date of the end of June. can't wait to try it out!....I think SE are well above Nokia in terms of style, Nokia are too dull and boring.

Now it's time for the k800 to prove it's camera capabilities against n73 and n93,..
remember that n93 beats k800 in mobile-review.com review on n93's camera,.. but firmware isn't final yet before,.. now... SE got k800 in stores now and n73 not yet,.. well n73, if you want to compete with k800 really and announce that(n73) now with firmware not yet finalized,..

Does anyone on the inside know when this phone is out via o2 customer service?? keep ringing them and get told they can't pre-order and to call monday?? Is this right?? anyone know when it'll be in their stores?? On the plus side been told it's free on an upgrade!
