so what is the main diffenrences between this one (k800) and k790 vers.? anyone know?

So, the so called "killer-phone" is here... Hmm... Not exactly what I expected.
letīs start with the obvious positive thingies:
-A great camera according to specs.
-Finally a good screen.
-Video calling.
And the negative sides:
-Looks like the designer has been drunk (=rather ugly).
-Nothing useful, like symbian or office apps.
-Non quad-band.
Hmm... High-class polyphonic ringtones (can anyone here difference between these and the 64 channel ones?).
Itīs not as superior as I thought...
The N80, which will be itīs main competitor for the "greatest phone"-title, is absolutely better in every aspect except autofocus and battery-life... Itīs interesting. In the N80 specs it says 2048*1536 pixels (3 mpix) and in the K800 specs it says 2048*1536 pixels (3.2 mpix), so the resolution is the same! Weird?
But anyway, this "killer-phone" lacks features and style. And itīs camera resolution is even the same as in N80.
My opinion and my opinion only: Serious people who need a phone with features, choose the N80.
SE fanboys, choose this one. Because seriously, this is far from a killer phone... Amen.

Ive had every SE since the T68i and everyone has been the phone phone i have ever owned. This new K800i loks set to be the next purchase i make!

do u kno 1 thing? if u wanna get a imaging thingy, get a digi CAM.. music is not an important function in this phone.. no walkman.. no WIFI.. so wad if the cams good? K750 is even better than K800.. Design is better( not saying the camera and wadeva 3G). Imaging is not tha important, i take realy good photos with my N70 and im happy. Planning to get a rokr E2 ( pure music phone) as my backup..sigh.. SE K800, add a walkman and WI-FI dude..
Guyz.. if u want a better phone, N80. THat really kills.. bad thing bout SE is it doesnt support third party software, not like symbian powered S60s N80..
Although no Af, 3mpx camera would suk?! and WIFI! woosa.. MSn at home? isnt that good? lying on the bed, msning or surfing the net..
Wake up SE.. y cant they make perfect phones? such a pity.. I thought K800 would hav Wi-fi.. sigh.. MOron i can say and wasted..
Do u realise 1 thing? guys? Design looks aalmost the same, evrytime, from Kk700>k750>k800
Only the camera resolution is the major cchange..
changes from K750 to k800 isnt that much.. this phonr wouldnt be cheap too? so get the w800 i think will be a smarter way, music phone and not suky camera, or ROKR E2..
thats all i can say..
im not being prejudiced or wad, this phone function is realy nice but, not perfect.. And tthe pricing is high.. not too much diff from W800

Itīs a good mobile phone but I think that Nokia N80 it's the best, because have four band, push to talk and wifi more than K800. I prefer the Nokia N80, also if the K800 is better for the photo. Eeee....

to be honest.. this phone dissapoint me.. i still think that the best design from sony ericsson is only K750 and T610 (i'm still considering about K610 though)

the 3.2mp cam on the phone is exhilirating. Definitely one of the most high end phones ever released.

Its the greatest of all of the present generation phones among all companies. I am doubious about two things whether
1. Its video resolution is CIF or QVGA
2. It reads or edits Microsoft Office documents at least Word, Excel & Powerpoint along with reading PDF.
Anybody having read from other forum can please share other such features which are not mentioned here
