Now we have a real comparison! >> If you're sick of the stupid, constant comparison between the k800 and the N80, here's something new, a real competition!...
Now i was all for the SEk800 but now i see that nokia announced the N93 which features 3.2 mp cam, 3x OPTICAL ZOOM, CARL ZEISS LENSE, and AUTO-Focus (Well done, Nokia - U finally got it right). It also has Wlan/Wi-fi, Symbian S60 OS and 3G.
I am now really confused - should i go SONY Cybershot and Xenon flash (K800), or, should i go Carl Zeiss Optics and Optical Zoom (N93). My feelings now point to the N93. On this site they say that it is going to be released this July ,but (cough), i don't think so. The K800 is also due in July, So i guess which ever phone comes first is the one i'll get.
What do you guys think?

since november ive been waiting for the n80 and now im having second thoughts,
i dont like the plastic cheap backing and the fact that its a lil big-ish.
this SE is the alternative for people lyk me who like the odd picture capture but are dissapointed by the poor quality of previous phones. 3.2 autofocus, should be crisp.
Apart from business users(who should have a laptops anyway) is going to use the WLAN facilities on the n80.
i think its the k800 for meeee.

Mike, the k800 is 3G and the K790 is not. The k800 has the hole in the grill because thats where the secondary camera is for video calls.

What is the difference between this and the K790? apart from the fact this handset seems to have a circle cut out of the speaker grill at the top - which just ruins it. But apart from that these 2fones, look alike, the specs read alike unless im just being blind. any ideas?

don't forget people that this phone also has a xenon flash which will be so much better than the LED on the w800, but it would of been good if it had a optical zoom but then it would of been thicker due to the motor that it would need to operate the zoom. the only down side is no walkman function and the new walkman phones don't have camera eg. M600. The sony ericsson Rep in australia told that sony is going to seperate their walkman and cybershot phone.

I both like k800i and n80. I guess n80's WiFi and UpnP aren't that too important for me and perhaps I will not be able to make use of it.
Though n80 features higher resolution display, I am still convinced that k800's resolution is bright and crisp enough.
I guess I'm into this phone! :D

To no name...
It depends on your priorities. The K800 will do the things that are written on the box. The N80 can do the same things as the K800, though not as well when it comes to photographing, but because it´s a smart phone it can also be customized quite freely. And it has got wi-fi and UpNp and these hi-tech thingies...
As I said, the choice depends on your needs.
