what does it mean Qcif video ? what format ? what resolution? what bitrate ? thx
im going for the best camera phone. Seriously, the n80 has a worse quality camera quality then the K750 in broad daylight with optimal focal range.
Bottom Line: Unless nokia upgrades their camera processors, SE will also beat nokia cameras even without carl-zeiss
I think it's a great phone. Now I am waiting for this series can be released in Indonesia soon with a medium price. Otherwise user ( including me) will come to Nokia.
i love this fone, but after seeing the new N-series...i changed my mind, i think im just gonna wait for the N73 or N93..
You remember that competitor of K800 probably be the N73 with Carl Zeiss lens, CZ lens is only publicity coz the 3,2mpx camera sensor of nokia is inferior to 3,2mpx cybershot sensor of K800, both sensors are CMOS type but cybershot produce good quality sensors and has xenon true flash.
The new SE slider coming soon, this jewel will prresented in may 11/18th, probably this is the rival for N93 (3,2m, 3x optic CZ, autofocus). This slider probably called handycam or cybershot/handycam, and video recording like N93 (VGA, 30fps)
man! n93 it size rather dissapointing...... my experience with n90 is not a sweet memory. i prefer k800 hehe sorry nokia.. size does matter
SE has just been
We're taking orders- N93 & N73 unfortunately.
Ha! This Phones Still Dont Record Video In CIF Quality (MP4). Nokia N93 Will ROCK! Long Live Nokia!
Now we have a real comparison! >> If you're sick of the stupid, constant comparison between the k800 and the N80, here's something new, a real competition!...
Now i was all for the SEk800 but now i see that nokia announced the N93 which features 3.2 mp cam, 3x OPTICAL ZOOM, CARL ZEISS LENSE, and AUTO-Focus (Well done, Nokia - U finally got it right). It also has Wlan/Wi-fi, Symbian S60 OS and 3G.
I am now really confused - should i go SONY Cybershot and Xenon flash (K800), or, should i go Carl Zeiss Optics and Optical Zoom (N93). My feelings now point to the N93. On this site they say that it is going to be released this July ,but (cough), i don't think so. The K800 is also due in July, So i guess which ever phone comes first is the one i'll get.
What do you guys think?
Come on Sony Ericsson get this mobile released early now to see who would be the best mobile released this year Nokias just made the N80 available now so get the K800 released to see who wins the battle,i can"t wait to see both handsets reviewed at side off each other an who wins in each seperate catergory,we know the K800 will win in the camera one but what about the other functions when i see an read them i will makw my choice which mobile to go for as my contract ends the end of may
since november ive been waiting for the n80 and now im having second thoughts,
i dont like the plastic cheap backing and the fact that its a lil big-ish.
this SE is the alternative for people lyk me who like the odd picture capture but are dissapointed by the poor quality of previous phones. 3.2 autofocus, should be crisp.
Apart from business users(who should have a laptops anyway) is going to use the WLAN facilities on the n80.
i think its the k800 for meeee.
Mike, the k800 is 3G and the K790 is not. The k800 has the hole in the grill because thats where the secondary camera is for video calls.
What is the difference between this and the K790? apart from the fact this handset seems to have a circle cut out of the speaker grill at the top - which just ruins it. But apart from that these 2fones, look alike, the specs read alike unless im just being blind. any ideas?
correction on my previous post instead of m600 i meant w950, sorry.
don't forget people that this phone also has a xenon flash which will be so much better than the LED on the w800, but it would of been good if it had a optical zoom but then it would of been thicker due to the motor that it would need to operate the zoom. the only down side is no walkman function and the new walkman phones don't have camera eg. M600. The sony ericsson Rep in australia told that sony is going to seperate their walkman and cybershot phone.
