i am planning to buy a new set...i am intrested in touchscreen
so can anyone suggest which one is better
K850 (sonyericson) or P1 (sonyricson)
both have touchscreen nd proce vise both are almost same
but i want to know which one have better software and functionz

After purchasing the new N82 for almost 2 weeks i have tryed out with several photos between K850 and N82.
N82 wins in all aspect when it comes to camera...I am really concerned about the camera than all other features thats the reason why i have just went for N82..and totally satisified with the camera capabilities of N82!!!
Keypad usage seems to be normal in both the devices and overall usability N82 comes with lot of goodies which was really worthful..especially maps..and N-Gage games....
When it comes to display k850 seems to be much better!!!

I think il just agree with all of you..that N82 has the Better Camera then K850i
i put my K850i head to head in a Xenon Flash test ..one thing i have noticed the Xenon Flash is placed on the side not the top:S like my older K810i and N82 !
which makes the Xenon Flash weaker when its used in the dark places...
and another thing my older K810i won in taking Night pics, you could see every detail in the picture
were as K850i the Xenon Flash wasnt as Bright and not every could be seen like in K810i...
and N82 is the same as K810i, every detail can be seen when Xenon Flash is used in dark places like K810i ..
since i need xenon flash quiet alot, i might need to get N82 somehow!
but K850i does take good Daytime pics providing it aint that dark lol
still its a great phone the K850i, not much wrong with it in my opinion...
im still Happy with it ..

i just dnt see why sony ericsson put in bigger sensors + lenses.
they're shooting themselves in the foot right from the very start. also the k850 has no special features whatsoever!
chuck in GPS and sales wuld go up a bit

seems like a healthy debate(?) is going on...
hehehe imo k850 though a good phone, is kinda opposite of what sony ericsson is known to be...
several issues here and there,camera problem, not much improvements over its predecessors...
a good phone yet plagued with problems...and there was already the n95...

When comparing image quality with the 2 phones i could still say that the N82 takes better images (that's when both are in the default settings). With regards to the key pads and user usability, once you get used to operating the K850...like what you said, i am also satisfied.

If your're out there. From what you say, N82's camera blows away K850i's camera. Besides this how do the key pads compare ( as in # keys and navigation pad )? How is the overall usability of the two? Which one is more fun? The reason I ask, I almost bought the N82 but went with the K850i. I am satisfied, but my main reason for having a cell phone besides phone usage is a great camera.
Please respond or if anyone else has any insight please respond.
