Still worth the wait.....
Sony Ericssson came in 2001, Nokia came in 1995 .......
this is a pure example
Nokia 6230 came in 2003, and the exact same type of phone from SE (K750i) came in 2005...
if SE Came earlier then maybe SE woulda been ahead.
it takes time to catch up..and SE also has to devolop its ranges more that takes time to.
its like Football, it takes time make a team doesnt it?
Well Phones are the same.......
same specs as the n95, two years later.
doesnt take einstein to work out sony erricson are two years behind.
it will also come with a 208mhz processor that couldnt process a hotdog.
this fone is da best fone on earth.
SE is da best, other fone sucks like nokia.

okay the guy like 3 posts below, just update the firmware man!
and the p5 matches the n95? well it took them 2 years!!!!
you were looking for a good N95 competition?
You should keep your mouth shut from now on until the P5 arrives.
P5 vs N95 is the perfect match-up.
How many of you people are considering buying the high powered xperia as their next mobile because i am,its got to be the next step its so advanced...i know the n series is their but they are toys alongside this monster and if its sales soar it could win fone of the year next time round,,To the xperia 1 ,cheers !!
I have used N70, D600, K610i and currently K800i... The 1st is so dumb, we all know about the N Series seizures and freezing spells. I and a friend exchanged phones for two weeks, he owns an N95, it kept on freezing and took forever to load just under 0.3Gb of music onto the phone... Did I mention the freezing of this very expensive 'high end' phone.
I was however impressed by the video taking and playing- beautiful but the photos fall very short of my K800i's. The N95 is very slow on opening media be it pictures or other files- nobody has time to wait...
So now if you expect this phone to compete with the K850i, you really are denying reality, with K850i picures better than mine and yep, video-wise N95 takes and may have a document viewer which I hate that the all the K series don't. Otherwise Nokia's software problems still persist from the N70 till this day- have not they learnt anything?
On the other hand the K850i has carried the stability and the history of SE being labelled as the least problematic phones in the market!
So if this does not make it clear that K850i is THE PHONE then nothing will!
you cannot upgrade the video resolution with firmware upgrades.
for a cameraphone, qvga is just crap. put those videos on a computer and they look rubbish.
vga video looks pretty good.
the QVGA resolution video on K850i is Smooth and its clear and no dead pixels at all. after all the new FIRMWARE has improved K850i alot, just like N95 has improved with the latest firmware hasnt it? Yeah!!
so why are you dissing K850i when N95 was the same?
its not better generally, the argument is purely camera based and i think the photos on the n95 look superb, and yes, better than the ones produced by the k850. all digi cameras use software to make photos look great.
maybe its the k850 over-processing photos to make them look dull.
anyway the k850 has crap video so its no more of a camerapone than the g600 for example.
yes i do know what sarcasm is, my dear! however, your previous post was more about playing UP on the the k850 rather than the n95 and if you were being SARCASTIC - then that means what you're saying is the OPPOSITE of what you really MEAN. hence, the sarcasm. am i right!??
although i do agree with the rest of your post though. thats why i said there are so many different phones to try out there than nokia/n95 and people really shouldn't be 'limiting' themselves to a particular name/brand.
and its a well known FACT that even a 3.2mp CAMERA will beat a 5mp CAMERAPHONE so i don't even know what most of the n95 users here are saying. cameraphone 'pictures' are basically only good for emailing, posting on their blogs/websites, but NOT for serious photography.
I had a recent chance to shoot out with k850 and N95..and the couple of photos i have uploaded in the following URL for the comparision between quality of k850 & N95.
K850 seems to be producing more natural shots...
K850i is great phone, close to Perfection
only SE and K850i owners will agree with me..
