You do not just buy a mobile relating to the camera on it you buy one for it functions,an have read the review on www.mobile-review.com the cameras going to be hard to open the shutter to use it,Sony Ericssons got to get there buttons sorted out on its mobiles as there even to small an not easy to use,i was expecting something better from them but i will stick to my superb N95 as the functions are top class an camera magic an with the N95i or N82 coming in the near future i will wait for these two models to be come available instead of getting the K850

Ive been with SE for quite a few years and at the moment ive got a K800i with a 1Gb M2 card, and the joystick's going. My upgrade is in November and I am really stuck in whether to choose the K850i or the N95.
Ive thought about it and realised that:
K850i doesnt have infrared (not a big issues though); it doesn't have WLAN which I will miss; and it isn't a smart phone therefore will have less features overall.
However, from using my K800i i know the K850i pics will be better than N95's. Also, K850i has better battery life and slightly better design.
One of the things I like though is the Accelerometer - auto-rotate. this will probably clench it for me. But apart from the screen rotate, the camera improvements (with extra flash) and EDGE (or EGPRS) whaty else is there to persuade me.
My cousin has a N95 and people say that the menus and UI are sluggish but ive had a longish go with it and the phone responds lightning fast. i also connect to my home internet network and had a great time browsing and at high speed. The way the front slides down to reveal the dedicated music buttons are cool. The only thing I have against the N95 is the form factor - as it is slightly bulky and i don't like the menu buttons and layout - just not used to Nokia im afraid. So i think because of that the K850i jus clenches it for me. The Accelerometer - auto-rotate and the coolness, friendly userness of it and my love for SE does it for me. But, it is a really close one. I have 4 months from now to when I upgrade my phone and if anyone can persuade me otherwise to get the N95 then any comments would be very much appreciated. Please help me as i am really stuck and need help. Thanks every1.
By the way, if I do get the K850i please tell me what colour I should get it in as I think they both look good. PLease help. Thanks guys!

This is so bad designed, and it's never gonna beat N95. Can't wait too see the test, where it's going down.

Looks good compared to Nokia N95, i believe when it comes to camera and sound nothing compares to Sony Ericsson...it's got a xenon flash and a photo light which is good for photo-fans...and a 3.6 Mbps 3G connection is superb...i've known few people that switches from nokia to SE has never looked back for nokia...no offence but i really think SE is the smarter choice in terms of price and user-friendliness...

TO metallerium:

well in other models like k800 or other non walkman phones i can tell you that the cuality is no so good compared to a walkman phone like w810. But, this model carries a new software that is not known by anybody in this forum, so the only thing i can tell you is that you have to wait to an official review.
