There are predictions the K850 successor will have 3x optical zoom....I'd rather wait for that...happy with my K790a.

SONY is famous for very good cameras, and NOKIA for everything else. i am big SE and NOKIA fan but i must say that SE phones are for teens, and they are practical and NOKIAs phones are more for..... why wants to have this or any otter phone 3. generation, let me know. BIG: RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, Chemical Brothers, Gorilaz fan

@cupid
look my friend, the video and the picture quality of the n95 is like taken from a movie.=) its so pleasing to the naked eye.
just like comparing a regular cam(k850 cam) to a cam use to make movie(n95 cam)=)
love you my friend,

From the N95's that ive tried they really struggle with close-up photographs. With the SE they have the auto focus and Macro mode :) Its much better
Id still own a K810i over a N95. If I was just going for a camera.
Its all down to the functionallity, colour quality and sharpness of the camera,
This phone looks cool, I will definatly be owning one.

The purple fringing issue on the K850 camera was not present when mobile-review made a review on this phone, and the images are really worth looking as the image quality is pleasant. very acceptable since M-R also have the Beta version of the phone. i'm wondering why such an image quality issue has been present on GSMArena's k850 beta phone while the earlier review of Beta version K850 camera proved to be excellent.

I don’t think that gsmarena should make a review like the 5 mega pixel shootout (n95 vs. k850) when one of the phones firmware is a beta like in this review sony k850. they made the same mistake with n90 in a review it was a beta version and the sad that it take bad pictures but after the phone was available they made it again with the normal version and it takes good pictures --- ‘When I was writing the review about Nokia N90, I got seriously disappointed by its built-in camera. Everything just spoke in its favor: the optics with Carl Zeiss hallmark, the sensor with two megapixels, incl. previous experience with the 6630 and 6681 camera models. We all expected Nokia N90 to be one of the best photo mobiles ever. So imagine how great my disappointment was when I found out that auto-focusing takes three long seconds, pictures are often blurred and finally, text shots can be considered nothing else but a plain shame. To be honest, at first I tended to think that the fault was rather mine for all pictures advertised in Nokia N90 official presentation look brilliant.
Eventually, things found their places. By mistake, Nokia had provided us with a phone, whose camera was not the final one. So we were immediately given a new phone, whose tests left no doubts and made all editors in our office claim in one voice: "This camera is really good! http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_...eview-45.php

Do you know why SE still has the 256k screen?
It helps the battery life by quite abit. If you look at any phone that has a 16million coloured screen, the battery life is not the greatest. Yes there are phones from Nokia that have 256k and have shitty battery life, just look at the size of battery it is compared to SE.
If SE made a phone with 16m colour the battery life be cut down by 50%. Plus if you havent notice they dont.
Now if you want a nice quality picture on your phone with an awsome screen, pick up any nokia with a 2mp or higher with a 16m screen. There you go your "high quality" picture is on your phone all because of a screen.

cons for samsung g600 no 3g thats all i can think of, pros for k850 5megapixel camera 3g, cons for k850 mp3 player only plays mp3 an aac files, 256k screen, they may have the best cameras but when it comes to screens on there phones it takes them an age to get the best, nokia n samsung always beat them hands down in that part!

I currently work for a phone company in the uk so i look at these phones so i can gain as much info as possible SE have never let me down apart from 2 occasions my k700i its joystick failed so i had problems with navigation and my w810i had problems with software on it this phone i like they have gotten rid of the old joystick so no nav probs there and also the camera is well improved as it's cybersho as w all know is Sony's brand for their IMMENSELY good quality digital cameras this tbh beats anything from LG and is good compition on the N95 due to N95 (orginal) and its numerous desing flaws...
