For Sony Ericsson K850i users who aren't yet updated their software version to: 1200-4400 R1FA035080527:

Here's the good news:

1200-4400 R1FA035080527 version improves the loudness and clarity of K850i's speaker plus when you go to the Media Center Menu it highlights the Photo icon rather than the Music icon that was highlighted in the previous version(that makes sense bec. K850i is a Cyber-shot phone and not a Walkman phone) :)

Bad News:

still the accelerometer is still laggy. the best example for this is when switching between landscape and portrait view when watching a video..the video pauses a bit but the music remains playing resulting the video to catch up with the music and it looks like it's been forwarded(nah, you know what i mean, it's hard to explain but users like me will understand what i'm trying to say.. ^_^ )


for now, those are the only things that i've noticed because at the time i'm writing this is the day when i just recently upgraded my K850i to that version.. ^_^ i'll write again here if i noticed some pros & cons..see yah all guys.. ^_^ (Nokia & Sony Ericsson Forever.. ^_^ )

The only competition for the N82 at the time - a compact smartphone (no QWERTY) with a high end camera and Xenon. Alas, the market for this no longer exists. We want our high end phones to have big screens and QWERTYs.

The pics will simply be outstanding! Same for the audio. My phone's screen died and it cannot be replaced but with the custom drivers I know that whatever pics I will take, will come out nicely :) Try that

The flash light is 2 much bright & is of no use.whenever u'll take pic,using the flash it will burn your pics.u can't even take even pics of ur self.the rest of this is awesome.

camera with xynon,design,memory slot(m2&mircro),torch,psp player,sound are good options but not a smart phone i hope, sony remake this phone with android os

after read all the comments finally i bought it. It really a outstanding phone. Specially the camera. It just look like a digi cam. Just try to keep clean the light sensor point on back on the phone. And properly focus the object. Only disappointing is, its restart prblm. Also power off itself

The features is good. The camera is great. but I replace the LCD twice. Waste of money.
