Can you notice that SonyEricsson always want to make more money? Selling the GPS Enabler HGE-100 apart. So the phone will cost us $650US + $120US (GPS) + taxes..........SE like to sell a lot of little device separately! And the QVGA crapp video recording resolution, what the h..l is that in 2007-08? Anyway the K890 and K900 will come to the market 2 months after the K850 so WAIT AND SEE!

You should listen to Envy. I went through the same thing with the k790 and k810.
So as much as I would like this phone I"m not going to jump right on it.
They're already saying the k890 is coming out so I don't want to go through it all over again

why are you impressed with qvga video recording???? it meeans quarter VGA., the video size of k850i is on 320x240 while n95 is VGA 640X480.,maybe i'll wait to buy a new cellphone when 7.1 megapixels is already available

If SE can come out a phone with 5 megapixel and optical zoom ....... then that's good 2 us ........

Don't forget, this happened to me with k790, about 6 months later came the k810, which being a big SE fan I had to get and now currently own, so I won't be suprised that in 6 months after k850 release they will redesign it, fix minor flaws or concerns, and add a few things...

So in the meantime, lets just give the W series a try!

I have been purposely over looking and trying to ignore this phone's specs, because I am a K series type of guy, so I have been trying to say oh 8GB don't really need, wi-fi won't spend too much time on that, touch oh the screen will get dirty...

But looks like this is the phone that is going to make me finally just stop posting about benefits of K850 over W860 and trying to kid myself...after all that, looks like I'm going with the W960!!

Well this might be my next phone, I've gone through 2 Nokia 95's (GPS on that phone is overrated), they are not reliable.I think Nokia's have lost the 'quality' assurance they once had a few years ago. Don't get me started on how many Nokia 6280's I've had.
Currently I'm back to my K800i, come to think of it all my SE phones have been good;
SEK700, SEK750, SEW800, SEW850, SEW880 and now SEK800i.
Which one to get.. SEP1, SEK850 or the SEW960... SE has a good line up to choose from and from what I hear all can support the GPS accessory u can get.

This phone is wonderfull...I mean what more can you ask from a mobile phone...5 mp are more then enough..SE have trully out done themselfes this time...

sony got the perfect score for picture quality cam phone...then they must now work on a high quality video phone, a1 and topnotch video phone.hahahha....go SE!!! i love yah!!

5megapixel for SE camera phone is enough!!!lol, its just a waste of memory capacity, unless we print 8 for billboard then we need more pixels.
