awesome...sony has stepped up to challenge the n95. Hope its not as glitchy as the n95 tho. That 5mp is really tempting, im thinking about this one.

Carl:
all SE fans here have the right to comment on this phone no matter what kind of nonsense or truth they discuss. we'll quite sure it's going to end N95's camera simply because SE never miss to make phones with quality camera. just google some K800 and N95 camera test and witness that N95's winning point is the resolution but the colors are not so accurate as SE does. meanwhile K850 already provides us the hype due to it's cool and unique innovations whie providing us with the top-class camera and flash N95 can't offer(no doubt about it), but again not in video(well K850 is not a handycam phone right?)

Come on now...you guys are funny. The phone has not even come out yet and none of you own it and yet, you guys are praising it and declaring that it's better than the N95. Im an SE fan but come on...thats going overboard. This phone is too expensive in my opinion and the design is really disappointing with the keybad and softkeys. Maybe if the phone was a bit bigger it would be more appealing...stick with the K810/800. And why are people so hyped about high MP camera phones? Surely most of us have one...not like its used regularly.

"i think that the k850i is great. however i still think the N95 is better. Why? Well the k850i is using cybershot, while N95 is using Carl lenses - they are both teh same company. so no big difference. N95 have more functions in term of organizer and etc. talk time and appearance is not as good but hey, if you are getting a nokia, you are looking for good functions. "
Carl-zeiss has nothing to do with the whole camera except the lens design and application assistance. in contrary with SE which uses Sony's Imaging knowhow to produce to-of-the-line camera phones in which nokia has no where when compared head-to-head. without the imaging know-how a optics company has nothing to do to bring out the quality a photographer wants, which an imaging company like Sony could also use it's propietary lens to make better camera than nokia+Carl-Zeiss can. for example Sony H1megazoom camera(which doesn't use Carl-zeiss) and it's DSLR Alpha(which comes with sony lens as standard)
Carl-Zeiss is an optics company especiallized in microscopes(microscopes so not use imaging sensor!) while Sony is an imaging company in the person of cybershot and alpha, they are just united by Cybershot and alpha though they are actually different.

W910 and K850 both have JSR-256 API which enables the use of the accelerometer feature to play games, play music and autommatic camera picture mode adjustement. which means we have a phone that works like a nintendo Wii... now nokia should show us those unique innovations to counter the heavy strike from SE otherwise they'll be stuck with those already-boring and not-so-new WiFi,GPS,HSDPA and Symbian :)
imho Nokia's features are powerful, but not so amazing and cool as SE feature could.

I've read somewhere that this phone is supposed to have a 16M color Bravia screen... maybe my source is wrong.. maybe SE decided to make the screen a regular 256k TFT screen..

Replying to the last comment and others:
People, remember, the N95 camera was compared to the K810/K800 camera! And they came pretty damn close! The N95 only had the 5 MPx edge over 3.2
Bottom line, a SE 5 MPx will wipe the floor with the N95. Carl Zeiss or not, SE lenses and picture quality have always been superior! (im sure the K850 lens will be larger than the N95's)
Oh and lets not forget the XENON FLASH!!!! No way can the weak N95 flash compare to that!

Personally, I think the design is a turnoff for me. SE is trying to cram all these features into a very small phone, thus, causing a weird navigation pad and buttons are not the best looking. And honestly, I got my own digital camera so I could care less about the MP. I'll stick with the K810.

Another 5MP camera phone.. but check it out, it seems it has a bigger lens.. w/c if it's true then the quality of the pictures this phone can take will be better against it competitors..
Aside from the keypads and Navigation.. Everything looks Cool!! i think.. :p

those nokia fans are so irritating... lets see if your beloved to be released N82 can beat the camera quality of this phone. and oh i head it's going to have xenon flash - but a weaker xenon flash just like the LG KG920 one. and lets see if the phone can support two memory card types (M2 or MicroSD) and lets see if it will have the automatic camera lens cover like this one. it's so sick to see those pointless bashes coming from the obvious nokia lovers.
