> In reply to popculture @ 2011-02-02 15:30 from fs5a - click to readif its what happened to mine (the keypad lights up and nothing else happens) then its just a firmware re-install. i got it done at a secondhand store that also had some electrical repair guy working out of the shop for $20 and he tried to show me how to do it myself but didn't bother.

I've tried several repairs on it and flashing but still no life. I'm told it's the end of the phone as nothing can be done after sevral flashes. Does anyone know the solution to bring it back to working condition. I so love the phone...It's still looking very new and clean but isn't working.

i have a problem with k850i, it keep saying operation failed every time i tried to install a game. Wat shud i do?

hi i have a sony ericsson k850i.i woke up and suddenly its off. when i push the power button, nothing happens. i tried everything, pull out the battery, sim card, mem card, then put them again, but still didnt work. i tried put the charger on and then there is a red light coming out of the power button only. but still cant switch it on.

well, as i personaly used this phone for 4 years, i didn't even have a single problem, touch sensor was still fine, but software started restarting, so i updated the software and it fixes the problem, well as i heard a lot of bad comments about this phone, i guess, its how you use and take care of your phones, after all, its one of the best bar shapes phone out there, and its 4 yrs old,

sony ericsson k580 is one of the worst phones, touch pads are damaged, the software freezes, the camera is full of dust, the screen to fix it cost me a lot of money and burn again. DO NOT BUY that, it is a BAD CELLphone

I have been using the mobile for more than year but i got problem with the touch some times it dose't work The Camera is good and ever ting is fine apart from that mobile is very good

Im using it n0w 4 about 3yrs.. N0 problem at all!
Smooth as new! Although im using my n93i n0w..

camera and sound quality of this k850i is undisputed!

hi friends, i used this k850 for a year, i had a frequent problem, if i touch keypad, the display light will gone off.. then after few mins, it will be as on. i repaired it for several times, but same problem. so use this phone gently. ppl who as a habit of typing messages quickly, don prefer this phone... touch pad and display will becom fault...

i used this phone 4 past 2 yrs..its has nice feature,i like the pic.But its easy to go blank.I already repair it 3x..it cost me a alot..people said touch screen phone can easily broken..now i consider to trade in it..
