- Uninstall unnecessary apps.
- Close background apps
- Turn off wifi, bluetooth, gps, data traffic if you don't use them
- Learn how to save battery on android phones. There are many articles out there. Google is your friend.
On standby, 1% per hour is normal on my phone. If you kill every background apps & disable everything, but still able to receive call & sms (eg. before going to bed), 3% per 8 hours is also possible.

i bought walkman live and i really like it. but 1 thing makes me feel unsatisfied..the battery is fast to discharge. i don't use my phone for about two hours with 50% battery and when i look at it its already dead. i usually charge my phone twice a day. is it normal? are you guys having the same thing happened on your phone?
is there any option to remove those four icons at four corners how to change the user interface please any one help me users, will it change with the ICS update . Users please advice
I am feeling blessed after getting this update. No other Android manufacturer is providing official updates to their 2011 phones (low end) except Sony. When others feeling ashamed of providing ICS to their customers, Sony stands tall. Proud to be a SE user.
Steps to install ICS on WT19i (Steps followed by me):
1] Download and install Update service software
2] Connect phone to PC through USB and run the software and follow the instructions given by the software like switch off the phone and all.
3] It may take some hours to download updates if you have low bandwidth (Mine took 1 hour) have patience.
4] It will install the updates and then remove phone from PC and turn it on. It may take several minutes to turn on for first time after update.
5] Follow the instructions after start-up and enjoy upgraded services (Specially new gallery!!)
Sony Ericsson, you are GREAT!!!

Update service software:
Please never ever buy Sony Ericsson Mobile phones at least in India... the kind of after sales services provided is pathetic... I had bought a Sony Xperia Minipro X10 for 13k and at one point of time I thought I should throw the phone on the face of the Sony ericsson service station guys... It took them 3 months to repair my phone which was hardly 3 months old before getting it to repairs...
You can buy any chinese phone but NEVER SONY ERICSSON
wooozy, 08 Jun 2012hey, i wanna update on ICS...as i saw you are very satisfied with it :) but i got a question: ... moreDude. Update it through the Update Service by Sony Ericsson. You'll get two options
1- Update only: Your apps and stuff remain intact.
2- Update and Factory Reset: Installs ICS from scratch.
Update to the beta version of ICS 4.1.B.431. No lag, performance is as smooth as it was in Gingerbread. No compatibility issue. Infact, after the update, I got more internal memory available. Battery life seems intact. So no loss in updating... :P
