It is just scratch resistant mineral coating over the glass.... Don't drop the phone, i'm not sure it can withstand....

Those who are from india, it is not yet officially launched here, but it will be priced below 15k.
It will be getting 4.0 by next year Q1 or Q2,surely after the xperia family....

Can Live with walkman handset be upgraded to Android 4.0 as other xperia devises?does the walkman player have same old awesome features like the mega bass?and how about the battery strenght?pls do reply..im so eager to buy this handset...thanks:)

Yes, it doesn't have BRAVIA engine, but the screen is good enough. Timescape is included, it is there. Don't know about the glass. If you don't drop your phone, the glass will be fine.

this mobile is offered with a pritty low price, but i can't find a review yet: HOW IS SCREEN VISIBILITY UNDER SUN LIGHT? i saw a video of it working in a sunny place and it seemed to me somehow too reflexive (like a mirror) under the sun! also noted that it lacked the bravia engine found in xperia series,, other thing IT SEEMS THAT IT DOSN'T USE TIMESCAPE UI?? coz it's not mentioned in the specs page,, last but not least: NO GORILLA GLASS, but (scratch resisting glass).. is this safe like gorilla? coz otherwise phone seems great!

Hi i have this phone and it is great but it has turned itself off on several occaisons which is not good. This is a shame as i like the phone, has anyone got any ideas or had the same problem

Yeah.....the new SE Xperia phones can be updated to android 4.0(ice cream sandwich)....except for X10 series....
And yeah this mobile is totally awesome...

Shame SE.Its quick in releasing phone like mini which have hell lot of problems.But when they actually have a gud handset in line they r nt ready to release it...And also GSM ARENA where is the REVIEW???

i've found this phone on a special offer and the price is really as low as it gets! but my concerns: the screen:is it good under sun? and i see it has no bravia engine, is the quality on par with other SE experia devices? and there is no mediascape -apparently- is the UI good and with no shortcoming? does it feel thick in hand? thanks in advance! the battery and audio quality seem to be good according to some feedbacks!
