go for p1i instead of k850,ul get bored if ur goin to get k850,camera and video is its only advantage..

the phone software is stable, i really have no complains about it.

i have installed all the available applications and games on my p1i and still haven't experienced crashes. im using the latest software btw: R9K0009

well this phone is way better than p910, if you want p910 get yourself a p910, if you want p1i then go buy yourself a p1i..... this phone is a smartphone, not a music phone, not a camera phone...but a smart phone with a decent camera and a decent music player... overall it suites me.... if you are not satisfied with the phone, give it to me...heheheh lol

i used to have n92,95 and 73 which i was currently using the n95,but i traded it for p1 since i was not satisfied with its battery life..at first i thought i was downgrading but then i wasnt i gained much more,well yeah the camera is 5mp,but not that big of a difference..

so far in performance there is no problem with it..its fast and you can have 10 standby apps without having stuck..the sound is pretty good,almost like the walkman series..but in terms of camera its average but its good and sharp,well in low light you will have a problem but set ur exposure,night mode and use the dual led flash..it will give gud result..well not that gud with the one's who have xenon flash..

Im a cell phone freak... Changing them really often. I've recently owned se w910i, k810i, k 850i. N95, n82. I've learned something the hard way, by wasting lot of money on these gadgets. We generally expect a lot from our cell phones. For instance as far as cameras r concerned, no cellphone can ever match the camera quality of even a low end dedicated digicam. The difference in quality is due to the smaller sensor size. To counter the offset cell phone's software has to do some processing to cater for this problem. This results in loss of detail in the pic. In my opinion those of u who want to buy k850i for the camera thing bare in mind that most of the monitors cannot display a full blown 5mp pic, let alone a 3mp pic. If u want to print those photos then that's a seperate issue altogether. K850i also struggles in low lit conditions. The noise in the pictures is just unbearable. N dont be too tempted by that xenon flash, except the closeup, everything in the background will b dark. In my opinion you should opt for c902 or wait for c905 or n82 is also a good option.

your needs should determine what phone to buy.

P1i is a business phone, as such, the camera quality is average in well lit condition but struggles in mid-low light conditions. But this drawback is compensated by P1i's other functionality which is too many to mention!

K850 is a camera phone(but frankly i would recommend N82 over K850 in terms of camera performance)

this phone is amazing!

whats even better is that you can find ALL the applications and games for free! yes, FREE!!! there are also a lot of modding/hacking possible for this phone.

to those complaining about the speed or stability, first try to update your phone (latest firmware 7-03-08 is R9K009). After that, if you are still not satisfied, there is a speed boost application dedicated to make the messaging and contacts faster.

Regarding the keyboard: it takes time getting used to (about 2 days in my case). but once i got a hang of it, i was able to text 2.5 times faster! we tested my texting speed with my cousin who used a normal keyboard and typing the phrase "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" in three sentences :D

the only letdown is the camera, which is quite decent in well lit conditions but struggle in mid to low light conditions. But the quality is acceptable considering that this is not a dedicated camera phone.

overall, excellent phone!
