if you've owned a p990 before you'll think this is amazing but it's not the P1i is still slow and there are still hangs that occur randomly

Is there anyone who has used this fone for 3 months and hasnt encountered any hanging and restart errors????????/
I need urgent feedback coz i hav just had a bad experience with p990i and i am feeling tooooo much scared to buy p1i tho i knw its better then p990

use p800,p900,p910,,then p990i...sound wise can beat p910i..sold off p990i cos the ringing tone is really patetic.lausy...

I have had a very very bad experience with p990i so i recently sold it.Now i want to buy a new fone.P1i looks good but i am very scared of buying p1i after p990 experience.i have just lost confidence in the sony ericsson smart fones.
Is there anyone who is using P1i for more then a month and hasnt experiences any hanging or restart problems

i think p1 is much better than the k850 becuase k850 has no infrared while the p1 is very complete and affordable than the k850

the p1 is much better it runs symbian, and even with the keyboard(which u get used to) u'l write everything free hand anyhow. and then after u buy the 990 u have to do upgrades to get it up to speed. ive jus got a p1. go with a phone company and get it cheap. its worth it.

Hi vahid,
First I will say congratulations for your smart choice of choosing SE as your future smartphone. I had a P990i, i gave it to my dad when i got my new P1i, so I know both phones very well. For the price the p990i is a very good option it's got everything the p1i has except for the 3.2 Mp camera. The p990i has both QWERTY and regular number keys so it's easy to use. The reason I got the P1i is for the smaller size, the firmware is a lot better (It never hangs), I bought a 4GB memory card M2 and it works perfect, the keypad is different but I can assure you will get used to it very quickly, the camera is amazing. So if it's because of the price than go for the p990 but if you want a nice package in a smaller phone, better camera and smoother firmware than go with the p1i.Thanks

i have just purchased this phone last week now, and i can tellyou that i LOVE this phone... the WLAN freature is very useful, when i go to malls and pick up their signals, and off course, i find the number pads somewhat easier to text other ppl, compared to the old technique of texting...

Hi Guys,
Have seen this work and its high end.It can recognise your hand writing so you can write direct on to the screen no short hand and it will be displayed in text format. The camera can process pictures of business cards, so you can take a picture of someones business card and the phone will process the picture and will add all the info in your phone book, company name, the reps name, phone numbers etc. To answer a few of the questions below-
For GPS sonye are launching there own gps software very soon which will be free from the website to download to your phone you wil have to buy a reciever though its from sonye but it will be cheap aprox €60.
As for hanging it shouldnt happen once your smart... having 1000 of your last called or 800 texts from your wife etc sitting on the phone will slow anything down so once a week clear some of the stuff off it and you'll be fine.

pi does not hangs as it has good 128 mb ram but if you want your phone to work properly please restart your phone once in a day this will reduce load from your phone
