P1 - I'm a previous owner of a p800 and currently k800i and I notice that sony ericsson does not support pdf and office files.
I think, to be a successful "Smart Phone" it lacks adobe pdf viewer software support. compared to other "Smart Phone" such as Doopod, O2, Hp ipaq, Blackberry, etc... and a microsoft office support such as powerpoint for presentation. This are essential Hope this reaches Sony Ericsson co.

Minor software update out for this phone. Reports of better battery life and speed.
So far a great phone. Only reset on me once when I got 5 sms simultaneously as I tried to open a sixth.

Using P990 same problem Wrong Message Delivery status
3hours forward time form crunt runing time same in
inbox 3hours Forward time i also have set the time
with many others time zones but still facing problem
what for this problem have to do?
Is there any solution for that?
What about this problem what i told?
1-what about its display in direct under Sunlight
seems Normal or Ok ya Like P990i
P990i has very poor display cant see in direct Under
Sunlight
2-Phone book supports Alpha Numeric Or Numeric Both
Like P910i Supports
Example In Numeric 0123456 can we write the name in
front of Number (0123456 sm)?
3-Can we see the number which number form caller is
calling we cant see in P990i but we can see this
in P910i
Example if u have my 2 Mobile Numbers and 2 landline
numbers can u check that which Mobile and landline
number from i m calling u?
4-What the size of *CTxt* (Text File) file P1i
supports in Office Notes and in Phone book Notes
P990i not supports more then 600 words P990 closes
the Contacts or Notes with message Keren Close Application
reason code 3 Memory Low
5-What about MP3 Sound Quality?
better then 910 or like 910 ,990s very low

Hi all, can someone please tell me if this phone will be able to run windows mobile 6 operating system as apposed to its current operating system. Please let me know ASAP as this will determine if i purchase this phone when available in Australia.

Hi all,
After ~ 1year of bad experirnce with P990i, I had change it to P1i as P1i claim to solve most of P990i problem.
After 1 week of using, I got 2 problem with this P1i.
1) Sometimes when I try to scan for network access point (by WLAN), this phone shutdown and prompt "restart to optimise performance"
2) For the alarm setting, if I want it to sound alarm (wake up call) from Monday to Friday, what is the correct setting for "When: ". Is it workdays? Cause when I set workdays, it also ring on Sunday..
Could someone advise?

am not from any camp.. my only frustration with P1 is their keypads. its kinda small and too close to each other considering that typing the letters is side to side.. although i like the increase in memory, the speed and the camera..
