@ swindy;

the P1 DOES have a full qwerty keyboard, its not like a sure-type blackberry. its called a butterfly keyboard because the left and right side of each button are raised higher than the center, sorta like a half-pipe. you just push farther to the side of the button for what letter you want. like the q and w button, if you want q, push down on the left side, and if you want w, push on the right side. also shift (the up arrow on the bottom left)+q for the ! and shift+w for the /.

You may have a point regarding symbian os but to comfortably run a more powerful platform requires expensive processors which in turn present other problems,battery cycle being the most obvious.I had a p910 and I can rest assure you the p910 was very fast-small os,decent cpu(at that time)and a hefty amount of free RAM.P1 won't be a huge money spinner but I've a feeling those that purchase the device will be more than happy.I'll definitely be getting one.

Okay... i never uses any P series from SE but i often read review about this series and one of major problem from SE P series is stability and speed. This Symbian OS is really slow in respond time, not to mention program often crash all the time. I said its no better than previous P series and M series.

One should be fixed by Sony is to give poweerfull processors to all their smartphone
and build more stable Symbian OS.

ABSOLUTELY DON'T BUY IT. It's bad like P990i. WLAN in P1 is same as P990i, just wifi 802.11b not b/g. It's different between b and b/g because in my experience "b" is very suck!!! Easy to connect to the hotspot but HARD TO SURF even wifi signal is excellent and then when you try so hard to reconnect, the phone will be REBOOT itself! IT'S KIND OF NIGHTMARE AND FULL OF HEADACHE!!!!!
