I used to be an N*/*a fans but since this new S60 out for Phone. I found that they are unreliable and no quality at all, Plus there customer serive was bad in my region. But I don't know why so much people still going for them. Is time to change.

(1) My sight is being poor - Is there a possibility to change the font size in the phone book and in / out messages in this phone or other SE. This is the main problem to me - pls Help
(2)Has this phone the access to keep the calendar in the phone book to the Cell phone simultaneously. This found in P990i - Tks

this website is so wrong when they rviewed the p1 because the keyboard is exceelent and very easy to use and yes its speaker is way higher than the p990 it is really good ohh se i love this company its the best!!!

I am SE fan, but it seems that I will be calling my self a used to be SE fan, since SE is determined to introduce second rate system considering what is available in the market. Gentlemen introducing what spouse to be the flag ship of SE (the P-1), One would think SE will have the latest technologies in that flag ship, but SE don’t think being competitive or losing market share or letting there Fans down by introducing second rate system is important to theme,,!!
SE is amazing company.

I believe a poor keypad design makes the keypad itself virtually useless. Use the stylus, instead. I do hope that SE will release a P1i with a normal keypad. Phones are supposed to be user-friendly. SE failed on that aspect as far as this P1i is concerned. I like its features, though.

From what i've heard N95 is great because of some features but the common problem with N series is that it always hangs. They should do something about it. Sony Ericsson P1 is an upgraded phone of P990i and besically lighter and add features to go along with it. It really is smart and greater than an N95, though its expensive it's worth it.

Hope the web browser on this phone supports flash or i will buy the Nokia E90 instead although i love SE more than Nokia.

thank for suitable price of se p1.
In my country se p1 cost $500.
It is a very suprise price and i never heard for the first release of se smartphone.

why se p1 price is nearly twice price compare to se p990?

se p1 over se p990 are:
- flash memory 128 and 64(p990)
- internal storage 160 and 80(p990)
- camera 3.2 MegaPixiel and 2.0
- better screen than p990
but some components and softwares were removed from se p1 such as lock key, graphics when you play the music...etc.

if there is more or less than those above please correct and help se customer let them know to decide to use the the fifth model or se smartphone or not.

1) Is se P1 alarm is louder than se p990?
2) Are ring tone and loud speaker of p1 is loud like the p910?
3) Is there no error anymore for se p1?

Hi 2 all Mobile lovers.
As there any1 who can tell me abt the software of P1..?? Is it same like p990i n M600i ? coz both of these phones hangs while using internet. If Sony Ericsson has updated the software and removed the bugs then I will luv 2 buy this phone. Thanx.

i bought this phone yesterday and i have to admit that it is an excellent phone, its camera is very good and the sound is really good and the screen very nise and also very fast and nice browser all in one pefect phone well done sony ericsson now u compete with nokia keep it on...

Nonsense the price is not 700 $ it is cheaper it must be cheaper than iphone I guss around 500 USD only

Too bad for me, too pricey :) though theres a rumor about the M610 which doesn't have Camera but with WiFI and same system specs. gonna wait for that as i expect it'll be cheaper :) but if anyone already have this baby please conduct a user review here. :D

for the haters. leave this thread you are the crap here that doesn't have anything to say but to mention negative and false things to P1. all your opinions are emotionaly loaded because of your P990 experience which is unpleasant and contradictable by the real users of the P1 :(
