So find a good converter and then you go.

I am trying to transfer MP4 files to my P1i using Sony erricson media suite.
I get the error that the file format is not supported.
Is someone able to assist?

Bought this phone 3 months ago. Upgraded from P910. This phone is brilliant if you are familiar with the P series phones from SE, otherwise there's definitely a learning curve. The P1i does everything well in terms of a smart phone. Kudos SE

If you understand UIQ interface once, I am sure you will think twice going to Nokia's platform.

Infact I would too, unless Nokia releases its touch interface. I am so addicted to touch, that I hate S60 button interface.

this is the worst phone i ever seen.!
I had mad a wrong choice to buy it..
it's so complicated..
I buy it..
and has sell it bak and buy a new phone 4 juz a week.!
wate my money.!

There is difference of platform for Samsung, Nokia or SE has.

P1i runs on Symbian UIQ
Nokia phones run on Symbian 60, 40, 80
Samsung phones run on Symbian 60

So either softwares designed for specific platform wont run on other.

So UIQ designed softwares will only run on UIQ platforms only.

So all your S60 platform apps wont work on UIQ.

However Java based files can run on any platform as they are platform independent.

Format Internal disk should be choosed.

And you go..

Other way re-install the software from Update site.

hi all...
i am planning to buy a new phone. i already own a SE W910. i am sick of its so called OS. so, i decided on a symbian phone. i checked the site. G700 and P1i are more suited me. but my doubt is, will this Symbian UIQ version support the softwares compatible for normal symbian ???

after i conneted to the wi-fi , then i open the web browser , but y i cannot browse the web and it says ''cannot locate remote server'' ?? someone pls reply me..thanks alot..=D

And you wont find problems with calls if GPRS stays detached.

why the phone network will turn it to gprs attached? Is it something need to switch off coz actually the phone is gprs dettached..so hw to do it?? hope u can help me ya...almost cant make outgoing call...
