I want to ask y my p1i this morning will cant make outgoing call, then i c tat the network gprs attached...so how to switch it to detached ar?
i scared my fon will stuck while i emergency..

hi...Can anyone please tell me, what is the messaging capacity of sony ericsson P1? i mean how many sms can be stored in the inbox? because in many or almost all the handsets of motorola or samsung the inbox capacity is restricted to just a mere 200-250 sms...Where as in the smartphones of nokia the inbox capacity in unlimited,subject to the size of memory card.

There is a compare option on your left under the P1i picture. There choose P1i and Nokia e51. And you will be shown with details.

My opinion, e51 is good phone. But big screen phones are more easy and you have wider viewing area.

i found this phone for good price, what is difference between nokia e51 that i have and this phone which i want to bay. Thanks for help. Agron

Many thanks for help. But Dear the problem remain there. I changed the Home and current time to Islamabad but i cant set the time. Please help me i am very fed up with this. I

I cant set alarm, when i do i wait and wait but alam rings on GMT time. How can i fix this issue. Kind regards. Adnan

So I would suggest, install and experience it.

Can u tell me whether java apps can be used by clicking the menu's and buttons of that app on the touchscreen? Or do we have 2 use the scroll wheel?

Can any user tell me, do j2me software's work based on touch?

I for example if i had a chat software (say mig33) can i use the stylus to point on my friend's name and open a menu. Or scroll through a list of yahoo contacts?

Please let me know, coz i want to decide on this phone. Tanx

For the use of those that want to enjoy DVD quality videos on there p1i try the software "Plato Video to Ipod Converter 5.95" Its free.
Add the video file u want to convert using "Open"
The Parameters are as follows
Video Profile - Custom
Video Type - MPEG-4
Audio Type - AAC-LC
Video Size - 320x240(QVGA)
Channel - Stereo
Bit Rate - Either 512 or 384
Audio Bit Rate - 128kbps
Frame Rate - 23.976fps
Sample Rate - 44100hz
Aspect ratio - Original
Audio Volume - 100%

and click on start

Goto Control Panel then into Location and set Current Time your Local Home time...

Then Home time zone again to Local Home time
And Zone of interest to be of any locality

This will give you right time of SMS etc.

Hello i have just purchased this beautiful set. I have a problem with time setting. When i set the time of clock the time of messages are changed. Please help me how to synchronise the time of clock and time of messages recieved or sent. many thanks. Please consider my request, Pleaaaaaaaaaaase
