I had this phone years ago and was far beyond its time. Brilliant * Gonna get one of the bay for 25 nicker an reminisce.

this is very good phone i am still using this phone....
you can set your ring tone :
goto control panel in general tab-click on phone preferences-click on the sounds and alerts... Now you can set your right tone

Excellent phone. I've had one in 2007, I was using for 1 year. The battery has great autonomy, excellent durability of the whole, good as walkman, good PDA, as a good book reader. Pity that the recognition of memory cards is very limited.

Yeh this phone has outlasted all of the other phones ive had including treos, the p1 and the x1. ive only replaced the screen once. i enabled virtual flip, and long ago i lost the stylus.
Considering it is from 2002; it is a color touchscreen pda/cameraphone, capable of internet access, mms, mp3 playback, and storing virtually unlimited photo-contacts. Its OS symbian is also extremely easy to use. on screen keyboard isnt bad. 5 way scrolling, and handwriting recognition is an absolute plus.

this is my primary phone. it is still a superb phone being the grand daddy of the smartphones by SE, not counting r380 by ericsson. with opera 6.2 and unlimited surfing(by your telco), this 7 year old smart phone never fails to amaze me up to now.

Ah yes, I remember this phone, my second phone it was, I was the envy of all my friends haha, And no you won't be able to set mp3s as the ringtone.

Plus, this kinda paved the way for today's touschscreen phones, making touchscreen phones more mainstream than Windows. Plus, you have to remember, this phone is now 7-8 years old now, and in my honest opinion, the tech REALLY hasn't changed that much to be honest. If you could update the firmware, the processor and the graphics to 16m colours, you'd get the same model you would with today's beasts like the HD2, Droid, IPhone 3Gs, XPERIA X10 and N900. A pity really, 8 years later we're using the same tech with very slight upgrades in different shells, hardly an evolution.
