This phone literally makes me angry. I mean don't get me wrong this is an awesome phone i use it to not just make phone calls and text. But the jotter part, i get to jot down poems and lyrics anytime anywhere that just come to me cause i love to write and it's great. the record voice. I dont just use that for little voice notes, it records long enough so that i can record songs i write that i sing. The text's can hold over 1000 therefore i was able to save over 700 that were really important to me. It was great. Great until it went 100% haywire foreal and then just wouldn't turn on/charge. Then i left the charger in and after 10 minutes the whole system was being rebooted. And what do you know. It was like getting a whole new phone again. Because I had to set everything up again because Nothing that was there... Is there anymore. And you know since i've had this phone this might have been the third time this happen. It really makes me angry but I guess I learn I shouldn't rely on technology for things that are important to me.

@5ushi
don't use m2, use the usual memory stick duo. it does support up to 128mb, that makes 128 memery stick duo usuable for p800. how this helps. :D

@claire
have you tried switching it off and on? if yes, then i guess you would have to have it reflashed from sony ericsson center.

@Pelumi
I think your screen needs replacement. bring it to a technician.

@hasan
choose P910 instead as it supports up to 1gb memory stick, this phone can only hold up to 128mb memory stick

Those experiencing software problems (like no connectivities and odd memory problems) should get there phone's firmware reflashed. Just take it to a nearby phone store and they will do the rest (for a fee, of course)

I recently bought this phone for about $50US in NZ as a 2nd hand, and I must say that it is quite a nice phone. The only bad thing is that it doesn't take videos, and that the screen is not very bright. In addtion, the battery life sucks - it lasts about 30 minutes of calling. I am thinking of getting a new 1260mAh battery (genuine one) from Sony Ericsson. Is it worth it or not?

Can anyone tell me if this phone can take upto 128MB Duo Cards max? I recently tried a 128MB M2 card with a DUO adapater but it would not read it... Perhaps due to a voltage difference? Or is it that the eariler P800 can't read 128MB or not?

Apart from that, this is quite a good phone despite it's age. Looking foward to using it through university~

Answers to the questions above will be greatly appreciated...
