It does surprised me i am not the only one on planet who've got the P800 back in 2003 and still been using it daily. 7 years from then how far the world has evolved and so many newer generation phones come and go. Yet my P800 is still going strong. Surely the camera is so out of place now but the phone got all that you need as a PDA. So durable, well-designed and simply ahead of her time. The Original battery still works perfectly lasting 2 to 3 days standby under moderate use. The blue colour theme really stand out. Back then it took so long waiting the phone to hit the market after announcement and proved good thing worths waiting for. I really love my P800.
when i put the phone on,it keeping on going off, without me switching it off,i really don't understand, and i what to know the right model battery i m to use in it.

Excellent phone. I've had one in 2007, I was using for 1 year. The battery has great autonomy, excellent durability of the whole, good as walkman, good PDA, as a good book reader. Pity that the recognition of memory cards is very limited.
NME, 01 Nov 2009Not a good phone. Camera freeze is a big problem. touch-screen poor, poor camera, would not re... moreu post this comment in 2009. this phone came out back in 2002. 7 years is a long gap for a mobile phone. of course phones nowadays are way better than P800. use your common sense...
Anonymous, 23 Jan 2010And I still have the original manual if anyone wants it lolPl tell me as to how can i set ringtone on my sonyericosson P-800
Yeh this phone has outlasted all of the other phones ive had including treos, the p1 and the x1. ive only replaced the screen once. i enabled virtual flip, and long ago i lost the stylus.
Considering it is from 2002; it is a color touchscreen pda/cameraphone, capable of internet access, mms, mp3 playback, and storing virtually unlimited photo-contacts. Its OS symbian is also extremely easy to use. on screen keyboard isnt bad. 5 way scrolling, and handwriting recognition is an absolute plus.
this is my primary phone. it is still a superb phone being the grand daddy of the smartphones by SE, not counting r380 by ericsson. with opera 6.2 and unlimited surfing(by your telco), this 7 year old smart phone never fails to amaze me up to now.
