Everybody wants to buy this phone when its released but I'm certain that they'll change their mind after they see the price tag on it. If P800 costed over $700 when it was released don't expect this one to be under $900. I think spending over $400 - 500 on a phone is just ridicilous because a new and better model will come out in less than a month. This phone may be all that great and even if I could afford it I doubt that I would buy it because somebody would beat me up for it as soon as they see it in my hand and I could spend that money on something much more useful than a phone that I only use to talk and write messages. You might as well buy a computer that can do a lot more than P900 (and it's probably cheaper). I own a Nokia 3650 and it's a great phone for a great price.

Children Please!!!
Play nice.
All this "my phone manufacturer is better than yours" stuff is unnecessary.
You want to table descriptions and draw conclusions? List out specs, features and lets put everything to a vote.
And as far as smartphones go, I have a Nokia 3650 and a Sony Ericsson P800. They both have their strenghts and weaknesses....but having said that, I know for a fact that I will be buying the P900 and not the 6600....but that's only my opinion....I respect the opinion's of others though, whether they agree with me, or not.

20-Oct-2003 is the p900 official news release date ahead of the much rumored 26-Oct-2003, go to sonyericsson official web site and it is all over there, one thing I noticed though is that the weight is listed as 150gm, not the expected 130gm, could we have a confirmation...

I have been trialling the P900 since pre-release as my compnay provides mobile middleware such as remote email/contact/calendar and core business applications and it is a fantastic phone. It is better than the 800 in a number of ways, but ergonomically it is right on the nail. The Symbian software is much more stable and over all for not just email (PIM)the 900 beats IPAQs, Palms and especially the rather dated Blackberry.

xda II, or i-Mate- the Pocket PC Phone edition with complete BT support is now available in Dubai as discussed in the PPCW.Net site, link: http://217.160.215.102/index.php
if you dig PPC and you are concerned by the limitation of any killer software support for the P800/P900, then check out the i-Mate- this one ROCKS!!!

Hello!
I saw you auction in Ebay and from that auction site i came somehow to this site.
I was wondering how much 5 units of P800 costs inclusive shipping etc to Sweden and how much does P900 cost with shipping to Sweden etc.
And tell me about the payment method you use.
I want the most secured way of payment because i dont want to get fooled once again.
So if you can do Cash on collect or if you can come to Sweden we can make a deal.
Awaiting your answer.
Best regards
Kez

If anybody wants more news about this SGH-i505 then go tho this link http://www.brighthand.com/arti..._SGH-i505... just take a note though that this will be running on PALM OS, which means you can not run programs simultaneously, which is why some people will prefer the Pocket PC OS... whereas the Symbian OS advantage is that it can switch and load softwares very fast and it too can run programs simultaneously, lke Pocket PC and let us not forget the fact that the Symbian was designed for phones, whereas the PPC and PALM were both designed for hanheld PCs and are now being ported for phones... and one more thing the i505 was first called i500, but for some reason the i500 was shelved... hence the 1505 has a long way to go, just like the siemens SX1 and neonode- all smoke, but no fire... i just hope that SE will indeed release the P900 on 26-Oct-2003 as being mentioned by other sites... all of you folks just hang on to your money and let us wait, if SE will stand and deliver, I'm sure everyone wants a doer more than a talker...

Haha?... saying I'm bias huh?
Ask anyone who doesn't know that the SGH-i505 has a touch screen and a stylus and show them that picture.. do you think they'll notice that stylus hidden at the corner over there? No right? =P..
Think before saying. Thanks.
The other reason why I assumed it isn't touch screen is (other than not seeing the stylus) that there are buttons below the screen, and thought that would represent functions that would be shown in screen.
