The only problem is concerning the OS, not the device, as Symbian...you know. Anyway there are some tricks you can replace the OS with Ubuntu (Linux). Perfect coverage, perfect working applications, acceptable multi tasking :)

UIQ is already dead. you're just wasting your money with this phone. buy like the cheapest android LG p350 or samsung Galaxy y instead.

back in time it was cost so expensive diffidently not worthy cause RAM and CPU does not go than far i already predicted it will go further

I am using my P990i since it was release on the market in 2006. Believe me guys, it is still look brand-new and it is just like out-of-the-box and no scratch all over its body & screen. I used/sold/replaced so many phones already since 2006 but I want to keep my P990i until its life as until now it works like brand-new. I am also using Xperia Arc (replacing my Xperia X10) and an iPhone. Because of my love to my P990i, I never use it as my main phone (Arc is my main phose) and I use my P990i for my private number. Yes, P990i is thick compare to new phones now but I love the design, quality, reliability and its functionality.
