I was in search of a purfect Mobile Phone which has Got every thing in Its CRUST and beleve me friends the search is over now P990 has got Just every thing one can imagine in a Mobile
Its got 3G,wi-fi,256K Screen,Symbian OS 9.1 with stability of SE,2.0 MegaPixel camera with flash,it even captures vodeo in good quality,2GB of memory support,Opera 8.1 Browser(full internet even at low speed GPRS "that means no need of PC"),Full QWERTY keyboard,Touch screen,jave MIDP2.0 with 3d Engin,Bluetooth,Infra Red(IR in combination with Symbian means You can use P990 as a TV Remote),Mp3 player(as good as W800i),HUGE Battery life 9Hrs,USB port(Can be used as Mass storage Device),OFFICE Applications,80Mb of Internal Memory(MEANS STABILITY),And Can any one guess whar P-series was missing till now!!! That's A good Phone..But i'm disappointed about the screen.It's smaller than the P910.So For me it's better to have the P910.

AT last!!!!! the time has arrived well not not till next year, but the new P990 looks very cool, I have the P910 and it is the best phone by far. A lot of people are complaining about the screen size when it is in fact bigger!! they have shaved the top off, I love the new cam with flash..YES!!. I am not keen on the imbeded keyboard, that is pointless and would of given an even bigger screen!! come Sony Ericsson ditch the keyboard!! apart from that I can't wait to get my mits on it,...

this phone is suck and also the phone size is very big and can kill a dog. anywhere please support NOKIA N SONY ERICSSON model start with k....................^.^

The back of the phone is not so good. The back must be like p900 or p910i, because the plain back is sign off simplerety.
It does not look over.
One more thing is that the screen of the phone is small than p900 and p910i.
I think that only 3g and memory is the main features of this fone.
Basicly the look of the fone is not so good.

Really cool phone, so what's up with all the complaints about the screen being smaller? It's still a higer resolution than the one on P910. Higher resolution is always better. ;)

P SERIES OF SONY ERICSSON ROCKS!!!! and with the new installment of this phone, this baby has everything... i'm a big fan of the P-SERIES of sony ericsson from p800 to my latest phone p910i, i hope this phone will satisfy my as much as its predecessors. cant wait to test this baby.....

I'm a big fan of SE since I started using P900 and currently using P910i. I was a bit disappointed to see P990 with smaller screen, keypad looks awful. I don't know either why SE is so disperate insisting to include the QWERTY keyboard since the unit is already a touchscreen. We need a screen like the P910i. P990 is good in terms of its new features - I really love it.

It really the best one for the smart phone , especially it just up grad the camera up to 2.0 megapixell, 3G, flash, the phone size a little bet smaller then befor , it easy to carry , or put in pocket ,I really want it ! but I don't know how much will it sale in my country phone shop ,hope i can effort ,

SonyEricsson series P are the best phones,but i can not understand why this company reduse the size of the screen in p990?! even with this screen there is no other pfone who can challange with this.no other

don take n90 to compare with p990 plzz. n90 is totally cant fight with p990. i hav no comment really a full functional n hi-tech features fon ever!! SE u r rox.. memory? p990 win, camera? p990 win, EDGE? UTMS win, QWERTY keyboard,WLAN,battery life.....p990 win win WIN..! some more the twist twist thing of n90 will lose soon. does n90 hav got touchscreen? so plz don take n90 to compare with p990. for SE fans: guys choose it!

Does this phone or the previous model syncs fully with Microsoft Outlook? I find this phone very appealing but I don'twant to lose that functionality. My current phone is WM3 and it does sync wonderfully.
If it can completely sync Calendar, Tasks, Notes and Outlook Email I'm sold!

All I can say is this, for those thinking about E61 or P990, hrmm E61 or P990? Well... FYI, E61 has no touchscreen (what a pity) but it has 16M color. On the other hand, P990 Touchscreen but only 256k Color. Eh, So what? Touchscreen is essential IMHO. So... E61 or P990?

I think the P990i has really great features however, i still think the P910i looks better. Ok, it amy have a bit of a poor keyboard but the keypad looks better and is easier to text with. Also i do not like the colour that much- i think it would have looked better in a darker colour. Despite all of this, it has truly great features and probably a very good performance! Finally i will stick to my P910i because i will never be able to afford one.
P.S. Watch out!!! Nokia's N91 is extremely good aswell. Overall- Well done Sony Ericsson!

Wow! wow! the sleepers has woken up from deep sleep. The new SE P990 is the best in town. Nokia even with their latest releases, is still looking like kids game in the face of this P990. I have been waiting a long time for this. Bravo! SE. You made my day.
