for those who want to live in Stone Age.. go get a Nokia 3210.. P990, is so far, the best phone i've seen to this day.. hope it's comin' out soon..

Sorry, my fault. It's a 3G phone after-all. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Looking at the picture, the LCD look smaller than the P910i.
Y have insert another keypad in the LCD screen. Bad bad SE :-(

this phone is perfect it has all everything
i used to have p 900 and p910 but this this is simply the best phone ever ..... now its completed P900 and P910 = P990

go nice specs, same as nokia without edge and 4 gb drive and if you say nokia phones are ugly, this one is worse, but the 2 mpx camera? i was expecting a 3mpx at least, kind of a drawback
also bulky, and still using memory stick pro duo >< sony ericsson don't learn!

phonegeek.. very funny, ur comment.. look when N90 is being compared with W800, lots of lots of ppl compliment N90 because of what? 3G!!! and you here to complaint because it is 3G? then whats the point of having 3G? Sony ericsson would have some reason why they don't put edge in their top phone, but really.. can i ask u what EDGE can do for u? do you desperately need EDGE? even if there is 3G?

WiFi means two things: 1)expect 1 hour battery life, which means it's totally useless for a phone. 2)why pay extra money for this useless add-on when you have fast gprs. Also unless they come up with an EDGE version for US users here, otheriwse 3G is useless and a waste. Not worth to upgrade my p910a to this one. Bad move SE

Hereby, I notify again for SONY-Ericsson, a mobile phone is not a Digicam/MP3 player or even a PDA with built-in GSM....
first it should support communications services of UMTS/GSM/GPRS/EDGE and provide best perfomance of them e.g. high data rate to Internet ....not 32 - 48 kbps ....
Anyway I prefer a PDA thinner than 26mm, cuz engaging a 5.5mm lens.....I think its camera would be great!
I believe in Sony of battery charge-life-time ....
In our network, Sony-Ericsson phones have a problem on paging (to be paged of incoming call)....

to steve ,,remember that the p900/910i is full screen of unit & 208 x 320 this is half the screen & 240 x 320 so will be a big resolution improvement.I cant find out the recorder size as in frames per second or whether its cif recording..Ihave p900 & did not upgrade to p910i but this is a different upgrade in specs altogether but hate the colour they should have kept it black.My main problem with the 900 is when the flip is shut you could not game or use internet or do other things that use buttons so decided from there on that im a button pusher & not touchscreen fan.This device combats this as well! I am using n6680 at moment and its superb but when i get next phone""2006 now""things will all be different again & I REALLY HOPE we see more of the fantastic handsets that grace the japanese market and 3g is fully working so people can evantually use video to video face calls as at the moment even if your in a good 3g area it does not mean the recipient is so how the hell can video calling ever take off??I also hope rok film cards take off & become cheaper..thats it for me

I'm a nokia fans .. but now i believe P990i is the best. if offers what exactly what i wants . PDA, PHONE, TOUCH SCREEN, WIFI, MP3, 2MP with FLASH AND AUTO FOCUS, VIDEO, BLUETOOTH, SYMBIAN OS, 3G . this is what i want and it has got all ! currently my nokia 6680 and even my awaiting N70 also i won't be buying anymore. It's not worth the money. P990i has got more features and i can go online whenever i go ! it's great !

gr8 job SE... im a nokia user...n think only this fone can compete wid other high end nokia smartfones...k750 n w800 r jus not my type... as im used to installing a lot of apps in my cell... this cell is gud..but think by the time it will be released NOKIA wud surprise us wid some ulta fundoo mobile...wid 3mp cam,wifi,etc etc.... till dat time.. this rules...
