Everything you need in a mobile. You can name them: Durability, 80+ Shared memory, BBconnect compatible, UMTS+video call( a feature most samrt phones lack)user-friendly Qwerty keypad. What more would you ask for in a mobile if it's not just a smart phone. The prettiest smart phone ever designed.

Officially, its release is due in 1st quarter of 2006, which means around january to march. sony ericsson has been consistent with their release dates, if all goes well, we can expect it by january. But there are more testings and improvements needed for the new symbian uiq v3.0, so it might be released, the latest, in march. if it were in april, they could have honestly stated its release to be in 2nd quarter 2006.

Well the actual date is meant to be April 2006 but could be MArch! There hasn't been anything promised but if it gonna come out soon, it would probably be April 2006!

I think that P990i is a great PDA-phone with great features and I can't compare it with other phones like Nokia N80. It's not the same level! I am sure Sony Ericsson will have a big fight with other producers. They will try to coming out with other PDA-phones better like P990i. This is good for us, the clients. I am waiting for P990i.

have you people ever herd of o2 xda atom. go and checkout by yourself. and its a promise of imran sheikh you will get a parallal option for p990 as o2 atom. i dont say or promote any of the two . but you must see the "battle of the giants" is race to perfection...

Waiting for the release in SA already had the P800, P910 Now waiting for the P990i i see that alot of people are waiting worldwide.
Sony Ericsson please hurry up your demand is great.
Love the current P910i but with 2.0 meg plus light will be great stuff.
Love the SE family very nice range.

when will this P990i be out in the market? pls answer me anybody, thanks .... im excited as hell ... this phone is the best yet, its totally complete of off the hook features, and its equipped with some features of tomorrow, what can u say? has fm radio, 2 megapixel-cams, bluetooth, the speed is so amazing, its memory is staggering ... its great to open the 2006 year with this kind of gadget, honest, this is the best i think as of now ...

hei dude.it"s rock solid. but it cant be release since march 2006. because SE engineers are testing symbian uiq 3. please do checkout for it"s battery life. because sony ericsson is always suffering for battery life.

P910 is faster than P900, but the processor is the same 156MHz ARM processor used in the P900.
now they used ARM9 processor running at 208 MHz in P990.

imusing p900 since three years im happy with my mobile itis smart professional. But expenseve compaierd with simmilare mobiles,regarding p990 i keep waching market iv been told u start selling it in saudi arabia at sr 4000 hich is equale to $1066? it is expenseve although it is smart usful but still expensive in addition arabic languge should be standerd as it is erea languge and we use it in masseges and other svs
