I have already updated my phone software and my phone's performance really differed...I think you donot have to install the software update on your phone but on your PC then you have to follow the instructions...Hope you have the best results.

hi guys, i am using this phone more than one year.in very first time i tried to down load update service.successfully uploaded to pc.but from pc to phone couldnt.i clicked desktop icon and followed instruction but finally nothing happen.just saying hold the 'c' btn etc.....pls help me.i really really want to update my set.pls do something

I tried 100 mb and it worked. Reduce the size further to see if it plays. Try it, it's not very difficult.

can this phone play mp4 videos of bigger size? i tried to play a 257 MB mp4 movie but im getting an error: "There have been problems trying to open the file. Do you want to try again?"

need help...

Hi,i liv in a small village majenang.It's dfcult 2 get smrtphone here,so i got P990 wth cheapr price from my friend named 'babah wiwix..'ths phone is so ROCK!!COMPLETE N GREAT DSIGN N PRFORMNCE..n one that make me proud..no one in my village has ths fone lke me..just me..thanx sony..keep ur job!

Best phone for bussiness man. can draw plans for notes for qwotations. very good to do list en very good notes to take. enjoy it a lot

So far I've read only good things about this phone. Currently I'm using k750 but would like to buy p990i. Pls I'd like to know its current price and the accessories that comes with it.
I want to believe that sides 4rm it being pda, it'd be better than k750. Thanks

phone is excellent only if the user has enough zeal to explore its huge capabilities for a layman its interface may seem bit confusing but then its a smart phone for the smart people though there are some issues that are to be sorted by the sonyericsson such as phone rebooting when used as modem (stating that it's for the performance improvement)and the interface tends to be slow when the memory is fully utilized which is not expected from a phone of this stature!!!
