I found a way to use other themes in R300.
1st...You have to get a theme from the 4 default theme supplied by sony in R300.
2nd...open it with sony ericsson theme creator.
3rd...Remove all the characters of the default theme.
4th...Import your theme properties and change the colors.
5th...Save it by selecting Save as from menu.
Hope it will work in R300. but I dnt give u a guarantee that every theme is going to work perfectly.

Battery and theme is the main problem in R300.
It uses its power in standby mode. W200i or other ph dont use that. and not a single theme supported by R300.

Sony Ericsson R300 is a totally wastefull bt cool phone in this time. I dont know why sony marketd a ph, which has a great look, nice reasulation, nice sound good radio options but with a lower quality of battery and Charging capacity. I dnt knw why? I bought this ph about a week ago. Everything is fine bt have to recharge it oftenly....I dnt want to buy this again.

The memory of sony ericsson R300 is only about 8mb.Please tell me how could i increase the memory status.The loud speaker is also not good.What should i do?

I got the same experience , when the battery is drained of about on it's 20% charge capacity and you switch if off to gat a more optimum or fast charging, you'll be very disapointed that there is a red light on the backlight but there is no readout on the LCD that tells you the scrolling of the battery charging indicator.

i have problem with the battery when it drained the battery wont work even you charge it it just glow red on the on/off switch. please need help!?

Hello,
I have an problem with this phone... While I'm attempting to write an message or just to do something with the phone, the keypad locks and I can't use it. Only two buttons which are working are the little "c" which eareses and the button above. When this problem apears I need to turn off and again turn on the phone, and than it works normaly for a while...

slow, i can't end a call sometimes cuz just freeze, i can't compose a mms it says "no memory, delete some elements" and it have 7.1 mb available ... a waste

Does anyone have a problem with the warning "Please attach handsfree. This cord works as an antenna" which appears on it own, without me pressing anything.
Also, the back light just lights up on its own...
had the software updated but it didnt solve the problem
