This is really a bad bad phone plz dont be fooled by some of the positive opinions provided by the site and users... its really not worth ur hard earned money...just ignore the positive opinions...

hi, is this phone good for mobile ebook reading? (.jar/.jad files). Has anybody tried?
I wanna purchase this 'coz it really looks good and probably just use it for simple texts and heavy ebook reading. (& no i don't want a kindle)

dis word describes the phone well...
No Themes....
Worst SMS Memory....(About 65 only :0 )
Poor Battery Life.....
With all the above Mis Features....
Can Someone Tell me WHY SHOULD I B POSITIVE About dis phone....
Still....Camera is OKKK....
There r better phones at d same price...Like NOKIA supernova....n xpress music...which i envy...dat my frnds have...

I purchased this phone 3 weeks to replace my W890i (which got fried in a freak accident) temporarily, however from the get go I had problems.
CONS:
1)Incoming call volume is very bad, or else I'm going deaf at a very young age
2)Battery life is very poor
3)Camera is difficult to figure out
4)Due to a packing issue I receive fong kong earphones didnt even have a sony ericsson logo or nothing on which took a while to sort out
5) Signalling problems are rife, I'm unfortunate enough to live in a valley, so I constantly have to run around to find the perfect spot. (However I had the same problem with my W890i as well :( )
PROS
1) The internet access is great when its working
2) For those of you looking for games go to www.mobiles24.com and search under I think 128*160 games
3) Mixit works on here for the South African users
4) The phone is reasonably priced and available at Ackermans for R689.00
5) It has a handy torch if you are stuck in the dark
My overall assessment with this model you need time to figure out how the camera & video works. However if I had to choose again I would purchase it as it suits my needs as a cheap (emphasis on cheap) phone with various features such as radio, internet which are my key criteria

A great little phone with many positive and suprising features such as a camera light and a terrific equalizer in the Mp3 player. Also having some games etc loaded is a terrific touch. The phone is great to use, has a very clear display and the keyboard when at first looks seems a little different (keys being in rows) is clear and precise to use when dialling and writing SMS messages. Battery life is good and the camera quality is positively suprising for a 2 megapixel unit. All in all a great phone that also looks terrific, something that one can expect from Sony Ericsson.

I bought this phone yesterday and some missing options as compare to NOKIA
#Zoom option is not available with still image photo also quality of picture/video is not good.
#You can not make the phone silent for incoming calls
#You can not set the time period for automatic phone lock
#For me hands free channel button was not working.
I will check further for another options and update it here ...
Overall I am not satisfied with this phone.Since I bought it for my home use so its OK...but if you are buying this phone for camera and music than I will say better to go with any other model.
Only advantage of this phone is it has rich look and somehow good sound outtput.
