I hav used this phone ! it is very nice I hav a solution for the texter which i had applied on my s500i is that cover the keypad with plastic .

Kay, if you're a texting person, and you use your phone a LOT. don't get this phone. it falls apart pretty easily, from experience. I had it for less than a year, and my speaker broke, my keys fell off and cracked, and well, I'm a heavy texter, so I'm not surprised.
If you don't use your phone too much, and you want a nice looking phone -- get it. (: simple as thatt.

I bought this phone in Apr 2008 and had to have the buttons replaced under warranty in Mar this year. Other than that I`ve had no problems whatsoever.The battery life is fine and the casing has held together ok. I`m sorry other folks have had so many problems. I keep looking at the W595 but my S500i is still like new. I`d recommend it.

It's a very attractive phone but it's not durable. I've had it less than a year and it fell apart completely. Cracked keypad twice, backlight lost, phone memory wouldn't fit, kept on flickering on and off, the front cover broke and the entire front bit of the phone broke away after I dropped it. In the end the screen completely went and I had to send it in for repairs twice. I gave up and am really angry because I spent over £150 on it thinking it was good after the reviews. But looks can be deceptive. I'd seriosuly think about it before you buy...

Does is eat its memory card if it gets hungry and how many times a day doy uo have to breast feed it???

I've had this phone for over a year and I have no complaints so far... it works perfectly even after dropping it several times!
Overall it is really good, doesn't lack anything!

S500I is the best phone but some features are not good and it got many disadvantages so please better check and buy the phone i am using this phone since from last two years.....

s5oo is a well looking phone but i prefer mostly the walkman series the phone is ok works quite good but it has many weak features just another commercial one from sony mostly reccomended for young girls.

s500 aesthetically its good, however it holds some major issues with the key pad (cracks easily).
SMS a little delayed when typing, recieving and making calls has a few problems (call drops out easily or can't hear anything over the phone sometimes).
Camera not the best, music is pretty good though.
