about the screen cracking and all is just bullshit.it depands on how u take care of it.those who r planning to buy s500i,dont be influenced by their coments

i had this phone for about 1 year n it seems ok 4 me. well im only 12 and i dont bring it around a lot but i love it when it comes to the themes.i mean they r fascinating. especially the ever changing. its very creatif 4 someone to create such a phone. well, so far no cracks. hope not!!! hi hi

I'm not happy with the phone i received. The keypad cracks easily, and I've had to send it in for servicing several times. I've had it for about a year and half. Now, the horrible problem is the ever present static whenever I make a phone call. It makes phone calls impossible. And, what's a phone for if it can't make calls?

Had mine for almost two years until I cracked the display. Not designed to be stepped on, apparently. :)

Easy DIY fix, front cover snaps off easily and the the display ribbon connects to a socket. OEM replacement displays seem to be about €20, so it's a fairly cheap repair as well.

I did see it as an excuse to spend money on a new phone, but if it hadn't broken I'd probably seen no reason to have it replaced now. It's a nice phone, good at most of the basic stuff and it looks pretty. Stock battery capacity might be a bit on the low end for heavy music playing or app/game usage, but otherwise I can't find much to complain about. I'll probably get the repair parts so I can use it as a spare when I step on the new phone...

I bought s500i in August 2008... Its been nearly 2 years and i am happy with the phone.....wen i bought this everyone told me to be careful as its a slide phone... but it has fell down from my hands nearly 20-30 times but till date there has been no problem what so ever...this is gr8 considerin the fact it is a slide phone......the display is amazing and a lot ppl have appreciated it....the sound is amazing....espclly the ext speaker...themes are gr8 too...camera is good...the overall look is sexy too...has the looks of a classy phone even though its not the expensive.........my overall rating for this phone is 7.5/10.......i ll be buying nokia xm5530 this week but iwont sell this phone cos i love it....!

I love this phone only one problem the screen i change it twice alredy in a matter 3 months and the screen is half the price of the phone.

lovely phone, with lights and all,i really enjoyed using it, but the screen kept having a problem and i had to change it, but i would still use this phone.. it's so fine ...
