If phone manufacturers would produce a phone that has all the features that a person would want and probably more, then there's no point of making another phone model which has the same features, unless, otherwise, they would introduce a new technology in the phone.

Anyway, I like this phone's design. It's really beautiful. Just add autofocus and I'll buy one.

well if u think reasonably and sensibly u will find that i am actually right , and my opinion is same for all those ppl who have voted for its performance .... SEF realizes that and his opinion is respected , its not bad to be a fanboy but only if u can justify your comments

if you like something u just like that thing i or for that matter any1 cant change that , even i like SE and am using one currently but there are so much improvements they can do rather than producing clones of k750i .... thatz y im a little pissed wid SE nothing else

we think the colours are very attractive, its about time they introduced a bright summer colour. would like to see a live model though.. what happened to auto focus???!!

finally! SE is finally adapting japanese desings into their phone since its the only department that which they could compete with Nokia and Moto and Samsung at the same time

I think i like the phone for it colour and i think it shld also be embended with such facility anyhow, i will like to know the price of the phone cos am going crazy for the phone so that i can go get it.

This phone's simply gorgeous! I heard their themes will actually changed due to weathers. That really impressed me. Anyway i heard it directly from S.E. I find it a really good catch.

simply just gorgeous i loved the s700 but this is a big step forward (style wise) i love the green ive never seen a green fone B4!

i honestly understand your comments, but what rating i gave was just right for this phone. yeah i may not used this phone yet not hold it. but as i said SE phones proved to be very reliable to me as an experienced user of so many phones, specifically SE phones. sorry if i sound ridiculous and SE fanboyish but this was my opinion. anyway even though i give this phone a high voting rate, it won't even bring the results up from the very low rate made by those Haters to the deserving point. and you're right, i'm an SE fan but not a typical fanboy.

the only problem for me is the Video capabilities...i m tired of SE qcif videos...
it s time for an qvga at least model...

does anybody knows the video analysis of the SS500i?

Yes. I think theres a group of SE haters that constantly vote 0/0/0 to any of SE phone.
I suprised that only in 4 hr P1, S500, T650 score has dropped sharply.

Yes it really is ridiculous to see how many people complain about the 3G issue. If you want a 3G phone buy another one. I really like this phone and I'm gonna buy it since it's the first slider that impresed me :).
I don't need a mini office and this phone is not meant to be one. I have always had SE phones and have never been disappointed. They really make good phones.

So this is definately my next phone and I hope it will be available soon :)

It ridiculous to see again again the same 3G issue.
The fact is even in this century not every country has the 3G infrastructure/support. If that is not clear to you, get some knowledge.
Not everyone needs 3G, not everyone wants to pay for something that they wont or hardly use and drain the battery.
There are many 3G models to choose from. and there will be more coming up, so have patience. Cheers!

to be honest, phone ratings here in GSMArena is very unreliable, this site is infested with haters, bashers and fanatics from different brands in which they always vote down the phone they hated even though they don't even used and tested it to ensure it deserves what they give. anyway i'll give this phone 9 in design, 8 in features and 9 in performance because it always deserves it as being a reliable SE.

Why are people giving this so low scores? Compared to Samsung U600, S500 is better-looking, sturdier and has a better keypad (and no touch keys to cause irritation). It does have 2MP camera, but are you honestly giving a fashion phone low scores because it doesn't have a digital-camera-like cam. BTW, U600's 3.2MP camera is very sluggish, so S500 should be faster.

I hope no-one here is giving this low scores because it isn't 3G. Again, not eveyone needs it and this is a fashion phone (3G not manditory). U600 doesn't have 3G and no-one is blaming it for this. Yes, Samsung has U700 but then again SE does have 3G mobiles as well. If you want 3G, buy a 3G-mobile and don't trash the mobiles that don't have 3G.

This will be my next mobile. I've been looking for a high-quality stylish mobile for months now and have spend hours upon hours reading everything there is to read about these things. S500 is definately the only slider I'm excited about. The only thing I'm worried about is how "plasticy" S500 is, but as it is reasonably thick at 14mm (and not ridiculous like Samsung's 10-12mm), I'm sure it's sturdy.
