PLEASE I NEED HELP...
to anyone who is really kind enough to help me....
i just have a question. can i use the ZOOM when i just want to look at the pictures that i have taken??? coz i understand that there is a zoom and i can use zoom when i take pictures..but when i look at the pictures i have taken, i dont know how to zoom it...
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm about to buy a phone and my choices are down to SE S700 and NEC840. Can you help me decide.
For SE700: (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Pros:
Full Bluetooth, can view a whole movie. Big, nice 262k screen
Cons:
128mb limit(although rumor has it that it can use a bigger memory stick other than Sony), maybe software lag, been around for a while
NEC N840:
Pros: 2mp, quad band(don't really care), video ringtone, new
Cons: bt limit to headset only, mini SD(don't know where to buy one, don't know about memory limit), not pure mp3 ringtone(maybe a pain), no one knows if it could play a full movie.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Sold my k700, using a t310, I need a phone soon.

The screen colouring is a hell of a lot better, I noticed it straight away so not sure what's happened there.
Cam noise is gone on silent (I think that's in F though?)
Battery life much improved and I'm messing with the unit even more now.
Navigating the pictures folder is much faster although adding an EMS picture takes a while to load up the list as before.
Less rattle from the shutter (don't laugh!) I think they've toned down the 'bass' of the tones perhaps as before I couldn't use them at all.
Memory status now reading correctly for MS in the folders view.
Still no full screen video - instead of 'unlimited' in video camera settings it now says 'normal' which indicates unlimited is never coming.
Night mode much improved in camera
Camera start up - wippet fast now
Can't remove Darts game which is annoying
Setting default number in address book doesn't show until you exit and go back in - that's annoying
Not one reboot since I flashed it so that's been fixed by the look of it

and download latest firmware R3k

This is definately a beautiful phone, but not flawless. One thing that bothers me is the phonebook entry, where it can only store one mobile number, one home number and so on under each name and not two or more mobile numbers or two or more home numbers.

Hi!
im am 99% decided that im going to upgrade to the S700i on the 17th of this month with O2 Online UK although id like to know about this firmware upgrade thats being discussed here - a few questions
1. does this firmware upgrade fix the "2min" recording time.
2.where do i get the upgraded firmware from.
3.How do i upgrade the firmware?

Well i jad a S700i and i traded it in for a 7610. Se S700i SUCKS!!! The battery life sucks.U watch a video,listen to few songs,take a fw pics and ur battery's empty.Plus its not symbian which is a BIG con. The video recording of 7610 much better than s700i. Apart from its camera s700i sucks.NOKIA RULES.

s700i is a great model now for the friend nit9999 who asked the s700i can take up to 128mb memory stick duo becayse it is not taking memory stick duo pro.p910i taking memory stick duo pro so can take up to 1gb memory.dont afraid my friend thanks the guard sony ericsson gave to s700i 32mb internal memory so with the 128mb from memory stick and the 32 mb internal you have 160mb memory i think that is good!!!

1) My s700i's battery life is only approx. 2 days. Is this normal?

Hi all! I have had this set for a few days now n i simply love it. U can actually play videos in a slightly bigger size. You have to download PVP Author and convert movies to mp4 format. 3gp plays in small screen i.e in 176*144 mode, while mp4 plays in 320*240 mode. Does any one know any sites from where i can download java games for my set as mine came with only the tennis game. THNX
