Further to my last comments, I've done some digging, and I can't see the S700 or S710 being released in Australia too soon. Expansys and a couple of other sites don't have it listed on their pre-orders.

Hey Guys,
The S700/S710 will have a SIM card, SIM free refers to a phone bought without a SIM card, as in, offline. When you buy a SIM free handset you must have a SIM to put in the handset yourself.
Hope this clears things up.

the classic problem i'm afraid of is about the battery life it uses 780 mAh Li-Ion !!!! i highly doubt that this phone could do like SE proudly announced talk up to 7-8 hours !!

I think i am in the zillion people who wondering about the SIM card Free of this phone how's it going to be working I am so curious about it but well we'll find out when it comes out and hopefully the price would be approprirate

The best gsm of 2004, better than the nokia 6230. It has a better and bigger colorscreen. Nice audio and fm-radio. A great camera>>> 1.3 megapixel!!!
I think it alsa has 'hot swap'.
But fortunely it's more expensive.
